Why not I'm an open book on stuff. The more people know and understand the better. Rotary community can be a bit closed off for some reason. I always try to answer as many questions as I can when asked.
Nice bit of info although some of the info goes back and forth on itself and seems semi-contradictory?? As someone in Oz, there is a bunch of extra considerations (RHD/local regulations/etc) but this video certainly helps with a few in-between ideas. If there are any guys here (or on the FB page) in Oz, I would appreciate combining some knowledge. Thanx. Greg 😎

You mentioned you like the rx7 trans with miata tail, and that it makes it easy to find where to put your engine mounts. is engine mount placment more difficult with the miata trans and new housing (and input shaft)
I have seen a guy in the UK swap an RX8 input shaft and bellhousing onto the NB MX5 6-speed GB (I think this is the combo he used) giving the correct length at the front while keeping the PPF at the rear.
The sound is awesome especially coming out of an Amp. I have a XL head though so they are tight on my ears and can make them sore after a few hours of wearing them unless I readjust every once in awhile. Supposedly replacement ear pads will fix it but I haven't tried that yet. I would give them a 8/10 overall.
Yeah you can do just about anything with any of the motors. Just the mounting locations will be different and may require clearancing on the oil pan either direction you decide to go.
