Rotating Magnetic Field in the 3 phase Induction Motor is self rotating by its virtue.
Kindly consider a change in current direction through three phase winding. Cross(❌) indicates the current inwards i.e., away from you (in to the board) and Dot(.) indicates the current outwards i.e., directed towards you. Regrets for having quoted reversely.

very clear explanation. But did mistake in symbols of direction at current flow. dot shows current is coming towards u and cross mark indicates current is going inward or away from u.
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
Dear thanks for the keen observation, the lecture is more focused on the concept of RMF, rather than the current and symbol. I appreciate that.

Sir if phase sequence ACB( RBY) then RMF rotates in anticlockwise direction , this also explain in the vedio sir for two instants This vedio explains in ABC( RYB ) phase sequence. Which rotates RMF in clockwise direction.

The current notation of cross dor is wrong..... current going inside the board is cross . current comming out of board is dot...... Pls reply for clarification
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
yah you are right dear, but the lecture is focused more on detailing the directions of three phase currents and its effects in contributing to the rotating magnetic field formation in three phase induction motor, but not on the notations. The same point is clarified in one of the replies given against the comments down. Hopefully you got me.

Did you calculate the speed of rotation of the magnetic field axis of the entire electromagnet by using a wavelength of 60Hz?
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390 4 года назад
Appreciate your query, thank you: Speed of RMF at 60 Hz solely depends on the its equation i believe.

how did you say 30 degrees is 1.6 miliseconds , could you please explain it......
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
If supply frequency is 50Hz, Time period (T) of Supply wave form = 1/50 = 20msec = 0.02 sec. Supply AC Voltage takes 20msec of time to finish its full cycle i.e 360 degrees. So, we consider calibrate time with degrees as, 20msec = 360degrees , there by 30 degrees = 1.667msec, 60 degrees = 3.33msec, 90 degrees = 5msec asn so on. Hope you got it.

Sir one more question and that is, at 60° the Ic is getting zero!! Isn't it?. And sir at 30° how did you consider Ib as negative and Ic as positive? Hopping a quick and positive response!!
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
Yes dear at 30 Ib is positive and Ic is negative..check the supply voltage wave forms for confirmation.
