This is interesting but I wish you had also made some suggestions of what to use instead of the wire brush. What do you think is the best way to prep rusted surfaces for painting?
Thanks for showing, I just bought new one for angle grinder speed rated to 8000RPM. I am cleaning older bandsaw frame. I found the 1st 2 minutes it removed the paint like a dream, then suddenly it sturted to slow down remarkably on removing paint. All I can see is some wires extended longer than originally, Torkcraft type. Is this normal-?
Yes this is normal. The reason is that you start using the side of the wires instead of the ends. I have made a blogpost about it here: bso-svendborg.com/not-use-rotating-wire-brush-painting/
