Can u tell me why speed decreases towards the poles while earth rotates on its axis. Why speed is greator at equator. ? Shouldn't the speed be same both at equator as well as poles? Please clarify my doubt
usha rawat If you were able to think more clearly it should dawn on you that it wouldn't be possible for a point on the equator and a point close to the North Pole to both spin at the same speed around the Pole. The point close to the North Pole has a much shorter distance to cover to complete one rotation, than the point at the equator. Try an experiment with a record turntable. With it rotating, place a scrap of paper on its "equator" - the edge of the record, and one close to the centre. Now, look at both pieces as they rotate. It should be clear that the scrap of paper close to the centre of the turntable is moving much more slowly than the piece of paper close to the edge. Why? Because the one on the edge of the record has to travel all the way around the outside of the record, while the piece of paper close to the centre has a much shorter distance to travel in the same time.

Seasons are due to the tilted axis, not revolution! If the axis was straight with a 90 degree angel, we only got warm seasons when earth was closer to the sun, and some colder when further, without 4 seasons. Thereby, earth's orbit around the sun is not always a perfect circle. But the tilted axis changes everything! All depends from precession, obliquity, Milankovitch cycles... Good presentation anyway!👍

I think this is where global warming research has not fully discovered, and that's why up to now we have not yet get the right resolution. To me already the global earth has tilted and proof this let us consider it's mass(weight) at it's formation and then at it's life aging period of many years, where if we consider human ; animals; plants population on the surface of global earth. This is obvious the increase of mass(weight) which can cause the tilt and eventually affect the sun's light which increase the degree of temperature, if we apply geographical features of * "the higher you go the cooler it became''. Anyway this is science and we need the global warming researchers to open a door and give plantform many others for resolution.

Please expand this and make more videos on the other movements of the earth like the inclination changing from 22 degrees to 24 degrees and back ( approximately 46000 years) and also its wobble where the axis also rotates around the center of the earth (like how a top’s axis wobbles)once in ever 26000 years changing the polestars during this period. I dont have accurate knowledge of this and looking for a simple explanation. Also please do make videos with simple explanation on the 14 lokas and mount meru and how they are positioned with respect to our universe. Thanks🙏
Why is it called the earth is tilted 23 degree and 30 minutes. As 1 degree is equal to 4 minutes, why this 30 minutes is not calculated into degree? Please explain.
Dear sir, 23 hours 56 minutes and 4.09sec is not roughly taken as 24 hours....1st one is side real day ie. With respect to stars and 2nd one is solar day ie with respect to sun.In the side real day case earth's revolution would not have any effect on completing the rotation . The solar day is the time taken by earth to do a complete rotation w.r.t. the sun and the evolution of the earth also has its effects on earth completing a full rotation w.r.t. the sun.
