Follow the dismantling and inspection of this Rotax 532 engine that only has 50 hours usage in the last 35 years. Will it be salvageable or be found suffering from internal corrosion?

It's a little hard to tell in the video but I think I see what you mean. Surely that was not shipped from the factory that way, which brings up the question of why an engine that only had 50 hours was in such sorry shape. I'll bet there is a story behind it all. It will be interesting to see what the owner decides to do.
An excellent question. The parts research begins today. This engine hasn’t been Rotax supported for ever now! Perhaps another video about this parts topic?
