Today, together we will walk through Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the most beautiful medieval town in Germany on snowy day. On the Romantic Road in Middle Franconia, Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of those sweet old towns that doesn’t seem quite real at first glance. Walking in this town is like time travelling to the Medieval ages where everything looks same as it was centuries ago. To enter, you pass through a defensive system of more than 40 towers. An idyllic town of plush patrician houses and half-timbered dwellings with turrets, wooden bay windows, and red roof tiles. We will explore Rothenburg ob der Tauber on a winter snowy day by passing its main narrow street surrounded by half-timbered and we will see the main attractions in the town. It was really amazing to visit the town while covered with snow which increased its beauty and magic.
