Yeah, I use OBS Studio to record. Watched a youtube video for the nicest settings to get 1080p60fps and did the same for the render settings in Sony Vegas.

Whenever I record realm its always kinda laggy and never looks smooth

That's probably because you've capped fps under 60 somehow. Check the settings again :) or try rendering in 1080 60fps and check if it looks smooth then.

You should do a tutorial vid to help out other people like me who are mentally capped
