Over the next few weeks Apex Equipment had the opportunity to step face to face with the destruction Hurricane Ian had brought to the west coast of Florida in November of 2022. With the help of a Apex Custom Built Grapple Truck recently purchased by Davis Corporation, we were able to provide the necessary equipment needed to help get Ft. Myers back on their feet.
Coming all the way from Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Ty Mitchell and Matt Deister with Davis Corporation acquired their 2nd grapple truck from Apex Equipment. With both units having the Rotobec Elite attachments, Ty gives us a in depth review on the Rotobec Elite 915 and how their company won't think to use any other grapple loader! The phenomenal Grapple Operator Matt, explains how astonishing the Rotobec works for him. He describes the loader as smooth operating and easy to use controls. Both Ty and Matt explain how Rotobec Loaders in particular get talked about alot within the logging community, stating "During our off load we are often working in close quarters with other trucks and our grapple is noticeably faster than other brands"
Throughout the entire Clean Up Process it had been such a overwhelming yet such a moving experience being able to help those in need. Ft. Myers in particular had been victim to such devastating damage from the Category 5 Hurricane causing roads and houses to be swept away. Davis Corporation and their Rotobec Grapple Truck was tremendous in helping this community rebuild again. We cannot thank them enough for the opportunity and allowing us to follow their team along for the day throughout this adventure.
