Love the look of these! Already have the Neo 2 which is easily the best light I have in my kit but the AA batteries 😭 Would have been happy with just the lithium battery but this shopping trip may get expensive!

A British product that actually last and perform! I got the neo2 since launch, it is a must have in my camera bag for my wedding work!

Dang bought the 2 light Aeos kit a few months back. Feel like I wasted my money after seeing this. An Aeos2 and 2 light neo3 kit would be nice in the future. But for now, I live with what I have.

Photography wise If your shooting in continuous these things look like your pointing a really powerful flashlight at a models face and expecting a good result, I can see the extra power will be more useful outdoors or larger indoor rooms of course though. The Soft box / umbrella on the Aeos looks bulky and cumbersome and impactable unless you have an assistant to stop it blowing away or falling over. As for colour LED, S - they are nice but similar ones on ebay are much much cheaper. The plastic diffuser dome for the neo looks like it costs around $35 ? ... How about making a magnetic grid for them too?. and the neo doesn't have a built in soft light diffusion option and is fan cooled. These look to be great products but I am on a budget and shoot mainly indoors so will stick with my Neo 2,s for a while. I expect In a year or so these lights will be on ebay around half price.

Nice job Rotolight - looks promising that it will be a major step forward in LED lighting. I'm trying to get a sense of what the AEOS 2's flash output is equivalent to in terms of conventional studio flash units. For example, will it put out the equivalent of a Profoto B10, a Godox 300, etc. Jason, have you compared the AEOS2's flash function to the flash output of some of today's other popular flash units?

Which is brighter, aoes 2 or anova pro 2?

Will there be some kind of trade-in deal for the Neo 3? I'd like to get rid of my Neo 1.

I just got the AEOS 2 sets, I got 2 of them... so I have 4 AEOS lights, I was soooo happy, until I realized they don't come with batteries... that's 2k in lights and I don't have batters... I got them for outside use, I guess I should have read more into the package, but I figured they came with batters since all the pics and videos on the rotolight web pages shows them with batters... so, it'll be another 2k for 4 lights and chargers. Now, that's a lot of money for someone who has never solid a photo and who has only been practicing photography for about 8 months. this will be my 3rd career and way of life for me and I am so blessed to be able to go out and take photos....
