Sakis Tolis ,recorded in Deva Sounds Studio in Athens by Fotis Benardo and mixed in Fascination Street Studio Sweden by Jens Borgen.

I struggle to admit this. But the Pro Xristou album has successfully managed to make me cry full blown tears. I can't quite put words on it. But this whole album makes me long for something, and I don't know what it is or if I'll ever find it.

"This album (this track is on) was inspired by the might of ancient pagan wisdom", says frontman Sakis Tolis. "It's a tribute to those who resisted the coming of Christianity, which destroyed all the values, traditions and knowledge of the ancient world". I believe this track is about that resistance, the battle, and everything it took from those who failed to refrain.

Great song yes but Rotting Christ have tons of it and put one song as no. 1 is impossible because many of R.C songs deserves to be on 1st place but this one and Sixth Day is the best songs on this album because they got most hellenic sound and got old R.C sound.

Just came from my second trip to Greece after 15 years. This time in Rodos and on top of Monólithos and it's one of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in my life I just couldn't help myself to think of Rotting Christ and Sakis' beautiful atmospheric music and imagine it in my head while looking down those magnificent mountains. ευχαριστώ Greece and Sakis!

It seems Rotting Christ have gone for a very Irish Celtic Pagan theme on this album with images of Cernunnos and also Druids "Pagan priests" on this video and the track "Saoirse" also a Gaelige Irish female name 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇷🤘

Man like a fine wine this band gets better in age. Im very glad to have met n opened for em on the coldest winter night i can ever recall. So cold i broke my bass drum beater in half during my set opening for em. They played the quintessential underground metal show I ever saw. Even without me n my band. It still would be. It was the most elite metalic underground of Wisconsin in place at 1 time Thanks to rotting Christ. Hail to them for all eternity!

50 years old soon...following RC and Tolis since their very first steps, not out of habbit but because they always deliver ART and Music, with their ever unique but characteristic perspective. This album...hit me as hard as some of their gems like "non Serivam" and "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers" ...at a ripe musical and biological age, their creative spirit is as sharp as ever, more deep and in tune than it probably ever was. Thank you RC, for being my music through life , for sharing your passion and love and for being true to yourselves first and foremost. You just created a Masterpiece of an album...and for those who delve deeper into the meaning of the lyrics and the way your music is written, in an esoteric way,well, they are in for a surprise i guess!

Unholy FECK, another amazing song and flawless riff by Rotting Christ. Can't wait to get their latest vinyl, that Crystal edition looks beautiful and so do the songs sound. I've been following them and my other favourite Hellenic band, Septicflesh, for a long time, yet I never saw either of them live. Since the universe works in strange ways, I'll finally watch them both in October, in the same venue in consecutive days. I can't begin to describe how happy I am about that, 2024 has been a really shitty year and watching two of my favourite bands like that should make a feckin' difference 🤘🏻

Rotting Christ lyrics are more of White Metal than Black Metal and this what makes them different and why I always listened to them almost everyday since I first discovered them 7 years ago.

They've certainly evolved, Passage of Arcturo, Thy Mighty Contract, Non Serviam, and Triarchy of the Lost Lovers are where you'll hear a more raw black metal tone rather to what they've been accustomed to the last decade.

@manosense most definitely. That and Thy Mighty for sure, its still quite apparant in Non Serviam and Triarchy you can feel the transition into more of a gothic sound, but compared to the sound theyve had over the last decade+, those 4 albums have more the "black metal" label onto it.
