The Manly Ferry crossing has nothing on this 25-minute journey. Boarding the Rottnest Express at the B Shed in Fremantle in Western Australia. Crossing the Indian Ocean was a little more thrilling than anticipated. The captain of the vessel performed his job brilliantly. Swells reaching up to 4.5 metres high, with the boat violently hitting the ocean floor and we reached the island safely.
Thankfully smell-o-vision hasn't been invented yet, otherwise, you would also have the waft of vomit. The boat made a lot of people ill, and many sick bags were handed out on the crossing.

A very unsettling cheer. Surface to say. They are good boats.

No shame in the sick bag at all MW! Ahh, yes the Dome Cafe, that was our first stop for something hot to drink, and there weren't many people from the ferry heading there either. 😂

Just think a huge reef protects the waters between Rottnest and the mainland, on the other side it begins at 6M !!

Whilst it may seem it hit the ocean floor, trust me it never did. :) It was waaaaay off the sand, just waves mate.
