Nice chubby little puppies….this video is old…so my Rottie I have now looked like that when this video was made and now she’s a big girl just turned 5 years old two days ago❤️ love Rotties…best dogs in the world
She is such a great Mother paying attention to them , good luck ,finding good home for them all , that the part that worry me the most ,people don't realize that rottweiler grow to 100 lbs and like to eat meat also a Rottweiler need a house with a back yard fence all around , a stable family that will bond with their 100 lb rottweiler for the next 10 years .
The tails are "docked" because as they get older they get so strong that they can break their tails if they get excited and smack it against something.
that is a borderline retarded reason to cut their tails off, and it's not true. It's purely a cosmetic thing and thankfully its getting banned in more and more countries
achmedlolol people say it's cosmetic and it's purely opinion a lot of people think it's cruel but it can be just as cruel if you leave the tail and they injury them self it's up to the owner if they feel that the risks of broken tails are worth it in the end in MY opinion it's best to dock the tails based off MY experience with my own dog....
Kim Prentice guys guys listen, the practice first started in england and ireland when rotties were used as working dogs pulling carts and tows. they had to cut the tails so they wouldnt get caught, after time people just grew to like the look o them so kept doing it. whats important i'd say is if the owner chooses to dock make sure it is done it a proper and pain free way.
Aw momma and babies gorgeous to be honest I was frightened of Rottweilers watched to much of the omen I guess lol my friend has two very loving dogs they are so I'm not now
Cutting the tails does not save them from pain and it is NOT healthier to cut them. The only reason to dock the tail is because you want a dog to look breed standard for dog shows in U.S. So basically, no medical reason and people are doing it purely for looks. Otherwise, why would it be illegal in Europe?
That would be very unusual. Would be very abnormal for a Rottie to be born without a tail. They normally have stout long tails unless docked. If I saw one born without a tail I would look very closely for any other possible abnormalities.
They're terribly cute. One shouldn't disturb a mom when she's feeding her puppies though. She might be nervous, it's an intimate process. Nothing personal, just give her this time to be with her babies! Or at least stay at a distance and use zoom in your camera :)
