This one has gotten so much hype, yet no one has told us it's a spicier version of Alien Fusion. Thanks, Arlene. Would love to try this one day but doubt I will invest in a bottle, especially when there's a cheaper, pseudo-dupe.
When you described the drydown, I just melted - oooooooh, sounds soooo good!! You describe scents so well and understandable. Really enjoy your videos! 💖🌺☺️👌✨✨✨
I am loving these outdoorsy videos. So nice to see beautiful trees and wonderful bird sounds. Very refreshing in these difficult times. Also thanks for your thoughts on this. I have been very curious after all the rave reviews on RU-vid.
I love Rogue Malachite. I wish it lasted longer on my skin, that’s my only complaint. Love this spicy tuberose. Fortunately, I don’t have an reaction to it. I will have to try Alien fusion mixed with the old cinnamon scent, Youth Dew. Malachite, beautiful red and green gemstones, was commonly used in Russia by the Royals who, were, before the revolution, the richest royals in the world. I saw magnificent antique enormous vases, columns, ect, when I traveled there as a tourist. I haven’t tried the Vert yet, but my family from Russia, originally, so like the idea behind the fragrance and the bottles.
Thank you. So glad you are able to enjoy the outdoors! I was glad to see your impression. Demi Rawling uses this and raves about it. I have been on the fence about trying it. I do not see a wow from you. I have so many I want to try and own.
I adore this scent, it is warm and creamy and I get the clary sage I believe in the dry down which makes it a bit aromatic. Quite beautiful but I too get an allergic reaction, if I wear it in the morning.
Very good analysis of this fragrance! My first impression also, "I've smelled this before". I love the cinnamon in the top note and I don't have a negative reaction. But frankly, this reminds me of furniture polish from my childhood. Not necessarily bad and pleasant enough, but for the price, no thanks.
It also smells alot like YSL supreme bouquet and the be layered dupe of supreme bouquet which is called Dolled up I think.. but without the spicy opening you described
I love the dry down of this fragrance. It reminds me of my favourite coconut jasmine green milk tea mixed with tuberose. I was wondering if the dry down smells like alien fusion because I don’t really notice the spicy opening of malachite and would love to find something similar to it’s dry down. I’ll have to check out alien fusion now!
I've not had enough time with it but on me, I still sensed the Alien Fusion but it fell to the background and this creamy coconutty tuberose came to the front. Perhaps something that might remind you of SL Datura Noir :)
I love the cinnamon vibe in Rouge Malachite. It’s interesting because I’m allergic to a lot of perfumes but not this one. If I get any Oud Bouquet on my arms, they break out in hives.
Always want to get one of these as the bottles are so beautiful. Hehe I do have to watch certain scents as my significant other has such issues. Makes me feel bad when I give someone a headache etc.
So true, It smells very much like Alien Fusion....the Armani Privé Rose Milano smells exactly like Miss Dior Rose N Roses as well. I haven’t smelled anything similar to Bleu Lazuli just yet but I’m on the hunt! That’s my favorite one but the price tag is simply to high. If I don’t find a dupe soon I may break down and get the Bleu Lazuli since to my nose it is very unique.
I have my eyes on this for the longest time but restrained myself because of the high price tag. Your opinion matters a lot so thank you for this video 😊❤
I was thinking the same it smells like Alien, but Alien is 2008 and Rouge malachite is 2016. I think a Nish parfum who cost so much is rediciulous taking the Adn from Alien
Great review. I do not agree that it smells like cinnamon at all. It's more vanilla/sunscreen. The pink pepper is prolly what you are smelling. Alien tried to be what this is but failed...imho. This is soo creamy and beautiful.
I really dislike cinnamon, so it’s funny that you think this is spicy like cinnamon. I have a sample I’ve worn several times and never noticed that, maybe I’ll try tomorrow. Wore Serge Lutens Fleurs d’Oranger today and omg I just love the orange blossom/tuberose of this and it’s lasting forever! Like literally I’m at 13 hours and still smell it about a foot away on my wrist. Lately been liking lots of tuberose and/or orange blossom.
