What diff drop kit did you get?

@@zachboudria4647 Don't know brand of diff drop... they threw it in at the store no charge...Did end up cutting off bump stops to accommodate the a arms.They were just rubbing the rubber stoppers too much going over big humps in the road.Also have ball joint popping in front now...haven't check which ones (upper or lower) but I suspect lowers...Changing struts next to Eibach lift struts and doing an add a leaf in rear with Eibach shaocks.I tow heavy loads elk hunting in Colorado and beat the shit out of the front so trying something else.Also going upma size in tires to 305/70/17 in goodyear wrangler kevlar I believe...

Did you use stock spindle ?

@@bigohubcity3159 yes stock spindle with the new upper a arms and now it sits on 35x12.50x17 duratrac wranglers

The control arm kits are usually a better choice if they have them available for your year, make, model, drive truck.

Yes they are replaceable ball-joints. It is the standard MOOG ball-joint you would get from your local auto parts store!

I have an 03 with 4” level keys and they are about cranked up, I got the part no.k100116 upper ball joints and those helped me with alignment issues and also made more clearance on the upper control arm bump stops, I haven’t looked into lowers yet.

They are designed for Rough Country 3.5" lift kits.

Got a 2014 1500 answer is: yes. Especially when hitting potholes, your UCA won’t bottom out, won’t feel the shocks get jammed in your ass.

@@MsMexicandude Hi, I have these ones with a 3" but it's too high, not enough downtravel, and I wonder if they would fit 2.25" lift, ball joint angle wise ? You fitted with 2" and it's ok ?

Had them on a 3 inch lift and it made it ride like factory or better

No it will not the bracket lifts are designed to use the factory control arms, if you were to use the Forged Upper Control Arms the balljoint angles would not be very good.

You should be good if you already have them on your truck and they aren’t causing any issues! 🙏🏻

This is recommended for models with 2.5 - 3.5-inches of suspension lift.

Depending on the application, the Rough Country UCA are designed for the Rough Country lift kits and the Zone ones are designed for Zone kits.

Absolutely. The RC 3 inch kit on my 2010 gmc was eating ball joints. I went through at least 4 uppers before putting these on. Great ride quality as well.

@@CustomOffsetsTV but doesn't make sense. 8 months ago this video was posted and Baker installed them on his 7.5" truck but the website says they will not work. Unless they changed the knuckle design in 8 months so that you wouldn't need the UCA

ClickRandom I believe rough country states they do not fit, but after installing them ourselves we were able to install them. The 7.5 is an older kit, which is why they may have only listed these for the 7”

I installed these on my 2017 Silverado with a 3.5" lift. You shouldn't have any issues installing the control arms as long as your 7" kit isn't designed for stock uca's.

I have the same lift and same year truck but In Silverado, did it end up fitting for a 7in lift? (Knuckle kit)

@@CustomOffsetsTV You're right they did fit just fine Corrected so many alignment issues Highly recommend them

It comes with the serviceable ball joint, with the nipple for grease fitting so when the ball joint goes bad you can press a new one in i use Moog.

I am currently looking for the answer to this and PISSED OFF at how difficult the answer is to find. Do I need to grease these or not?! It shouldn’t be this f**king hard.

Ryan Reeling ran rough very rough but I was running 24x14’s on 37’s but you can do it never got to test out the A Arms just said fuck it
