indeed 80's skateboarding was rad not boring that's why this type of skateboarding is rad because it isn't boring like the same popsicle shape videos over and over this is a fresh change from the pop shapes back to money bumps
If he'd been that age in the mid to late 80's he'd probably be one of the legends of skateboarding. But then again, he'll be a legend a decade from now
Much love to Wink! Love his skate style tremendously. Dude shreads! I have his dope planet pro model. I love the shape, the way it feels. It's a sweet board built for function. The concave edges give you pockets for different types of tricks. I'll be getting more of these boards for sure. Worth the extra ching.
@@lixibao Erick? santa cruz, he's pro. the concave is awesome, only thing that was hard to get used to riding 80's style again is the short nose hence shorter board. I remember getting used to noses the size of the tail when that 1st happened now i'm going back.
@dave setchell Wow I remember those ads for those but I didn't even realize they had a deck called 'double vision' (bad pun). I don't know what I thought they put those ads out for I thought they were just trying to introduce a new idea they were thinking of trying if the response was positive. Didn't the ads say something like 'think about it" or something and just had a pic of a double tailed complete? I Gotta look this up. LOL yea bonite right? didn't need it then but I'd be screwed with out the flight decks and the SC XV decks now. I've always been tall and naturally muscular so heavier than most skate waifs, But by the end of late nineties I had to quite or get sponsored cause I was breaking so many boards. So I went to Uni instead and didn't take skating as seriously. Probably never would have gotten sponsored anyway, I just needed someone to flow me decks, or I was done.

New school/old school with effortless steeze. Winkowski is dope, he's got that "barley holding on" style which is rad ...but Vargs is straight butter
