Rough Shooting with Cocker Spaniels 

Nothing quite like that stare your cocker gives you when you miss. We hunt quail in the pines in south Georgia here in the US. I’ve got a blue roan English named Sam and she’s as solid a birddog as you could hope for. And sweet as could be. But boy does she give me the look when I let a bird get away.

The look on Teds face when you missed that going away bird in the plantation 😂😂😂

People don't understand Cockers are better at flushing birds because they can get low and deep in the brush and are quick. And they are great swimmers/retrievers. Given the fact they are also knuckleheads makes them a great dog.

What kind of side by side do you shoot with Nick?

Oh my goshh I'm obviously not used to people killing birds with a gun 😭. But you probably have a lisence and its honestly pretty cool. I want a working cocker spaniel. But do they need to work? If I have one as a family pet, and j exercise them 1 hour a day and then teach him tricks and mental stimulation games in the garden spereratly would that be enough? I mean I would get a show cocker but working spaniels look more natural.
