Acharya Sanjoy Chakraborty is really a multifaceted genius musician and a committed research scholar about the mysteries of Indian music. As we have seen on different occasions, he plays Harmonium, Sitar, Tabla etc with an effortless skill of a professional. His singing of course tops it all. Oh! What a sonorous but mellifluous voice he has. His presentation reveals that he has delved into the domain of Raga Yaman to a fantastic measure and is an eye opener to all budding musicians I think. I would request him to cater such gems to all his admirers like us in more such sessions coming his way in future. I pray he reaches his desired destination with sure success. I would also hasten to extend my heartiest love and respect to Subhasis, a gem of a young Tabla fraternity, whose accompaniment with Acharya Sanjoy is well measured and full of melody and musical vibrancy adding charms and colours to Acharya's uniquely uncanny presentation. Other accompanists also deserve acclaims for their respective skills. I salute their earnest involvement in the show.
