We are talking about it. Everything is high in CA. Texas higher property tax is nothing compared to what it costs to live in SD, CA. There are a lot of pro's and con's ... but we really enjoyed Texas a lot!!!!! Thanks for watching and taking the time to be here. I really appreciate it! xoxoxo
Love that you showed the price to a lot of items!💓 It Gives a great idea of what to look forward to paying if I ever go there!🌟 Thank you for sharing hopefully you share with us what you got from there.😊
Totally! I figured it would be helpful for anyone wanting to maybe hit the fall show this year or for future shows. I had no idea what to expect or prices going into it…. So happy to help! Thanks for watching ❤️
Wow they really got some nice things there. I have never been to Texas. Most of the items are way out of my price range. Too bad I really like their stuff
Seriously!!! I’m thinking about going for the fall time show without kids and being better prepared! So many good finds and I barely brushed the surface of what was there!
Wow.....love it......I would freak out to ...so many beautiful things....I would probably found my entree bench there.....need to check for antique show around my place......xoxo
There was so many cool items. I just need to be better prepared next time. Everyone had rental trucks to load their purchases. My hubs and I are deciding on whether we want to hit the fall show! You should go!!!!! ❤️
I’ve heard that the pricing at round top has been over priced for the past few years. I’m in California and some of my go to places have been going up depending on what’s popular. Long Beach Flea has some deals but they also are creeping up on the $$$ (Rude hahaha). Just fun to see the mass of items in one place, it is beautiful.
I just heard about the Long Beach Flea Market! I want to go so bad. I’m sure RT is getting more $$ cause it’s getting more and more popular. That’s what happens when something gains popularity. People name their price ….. and people buy it. There was a lot of people there ready to spend $$$ so, obviously people are buying!
@@Hannah_naylor_ I can totally understand spending the money on the items that you want, if they are hard to find or if it’s one of a kind type of deal. The Rose bowl Flea is food as well it’s just an act of god to get parking.
If y'all are ever looking to vacation in Texas again, I definitely recommend the hill country area; Kerrville or Fredericksburg! Here in Kerrville we are only about 45min from San Antonio but we have the Guadalupe river all through town for kayaking, floating, fishing, along with beautiful trails. Fredericksburg is full of winery's & antiquing. San Antonio is just a quick commute if you want some city life. I make the drive for work 3-4days per week & it's beautiful. Safe travels! ✌🏻🤍
@@ladypaz Yes, alot of charming areas in the Texas hill country. I grew up in West Texas which has never been my vibe lol! One of my best decisions has been to move to Kerrville.
@@Hannah_naylor_ Definitely spring/summer for river & Waterpark activities. For more scenery & trails, Oct & Nov is beautiful with changing leaves & winery activity.
If you are ever going to Waco again need to try looking in McGregor off Hwy 84. Their are some antique stores there. In fact Joanna Gaines goes to them alot. Very reasonable prices. A large one, Cedar Chest antique mall and a small one in town Hidden Talents across from the Coffee Shop
Me too! My video doesn’t even brush the surface or put into perspective just how large the show is. It’s miles long. Some with actual storefronts and others, pop up tents with antiques and unique finds. Everyone should experience this show if they can! ❤️
2 small things. One of those marble dishes from the vendor at Compound, and a vintage stone riser (I’m using it for my candles). I wanted more but limited on space getting it home!
My only Complaint about this video... is that it wasn’t longer... everything looked sooo nice! But those prices are heartbreaking! I am sure just looking around, is breathtakingly amazing.
I know! I did my best. I really wanted to see/film more while we were there … but the girls only lasted so long. They were good sports given the fact. Yeah prices were a little disappointing. I was hoping to buy more ..: but I just couldn’t at some of the prices.
Yes, not everything was crazY. The massive dough bowls at the last big barn I went into were only $120 and they were huge!!!! Some good finds … it’s just a matter of where to look for them. I hope you had fun!!!
I didn’t realize how big Round Top is with all those vendors. You found some really good spots. Are they open all year long or only a short time? I love those circular chandeliers!
Ryder, "see ya next time! Let's go!" Lol... the longhorns were beautiful! That crystal! But yes way over priced. I worked for a store that used to go there every year and it seems like the prices have gone way up! Those bread bowls! Everything Bigger in Texas! All those geodes. I saw the risers and immediately thought of you. I hope you go to Magnolia. Oh and those sphere lights at the beginning I love those!!! One of those and that giant crystal and I'd be done.🖤
Her little voice! I’m glad I’m able to capture moments like that of her and Sway. Time is going so fast … that luckily I have footage (through creating content) of her and her sister. 🥺🥺🥺 Yes… things are definitely way bigger in Texas. There were some really incredible finds and also some extremely over priced finds. Still awesome to experience and check out! I wish we had time to stop in Waco at Magnolia …. But the drive was long and the girls were tired. Maybe next time we come into town! Thanks for watching much love !!!!!❤️
We live about an hour and a half from Round Top and we had never been until this year. We made two trips because it was so overwhelming and the first time we went was towards the beginning of the show and several of the biggies weren't open yet . So the second trip , we went the day before it ended and hit up Blue Hills. It was a big disappointment. I bought one thing at The M which you showed in your video but honestly, I bought more things at a better price on our first trip. I got several things at Paul Michael Company and some of the other shops in that building and we also drove a few miles down from Round Top to Warrington where there were lots of places to shop also. So many of the places were just too over-priced but I still loved going and am already looking forward to the Fall show. I can't believe it took me this long to go!!
I agree with you. It was so much fun to look at everything and sounds like you and I barely brushed the surface of the amount of things there. It was really over priced but fun to see the items. Collin and I are talking about possibly heading back to the fall show as well! Super fun!
Hey Hannah! Awesome shops. Biggest crystals I have ever seen! And a good variety. I could see myself getting a few pieces to take home….lol! Thanks for sharing!
One girl!!! Love love love the 3-5 vendors! Such a vibe 🤍 that $1600 crystal you could get at my store in Vegas for less than half the price … you gotta come check that store out next time your in Vegas 😁
I was thinking about you when I saw those crystal and the hefty price tag. They were Incredible… but I need to make a drive out to you one day to come to your spot!!!
@@Hannah_naylor_ just saw my original post said one girl lol supposed to be OMG! Anyways yes come out! I’m still planning to go to San Marcos soon to check out CB2 outlet… definitely should meet up 😁
I didn’t even know …. When we booked Dallas , I realized round top was happening the same time while we were there. Last minute trip down and so worth it!!!!
Been going to Roundtop for years I live north of Austin, certain areas are super pricey but there are a few cheaper vendors in the mix, it does take a few days to shop it all!! So many goodies there ❤️❤️😁
Man well maybe I’ll hit you up next time I go: we are deciding if we want to make it down for the fall show! So many cool things to look at. Loved the whole experience ❤️❤️
