All of you have been asking why its divided by 2304... If you see 1st formula is actually the short formula of 2nd one volume. What it says v =( circumference /4)^2 ×Length. So when u convert inch into feet it goes like (12×4)^2 which by solveing u get 12×12×4×4= 2304...
Hie sir... In first formula.. U r multiplying the inch with feet.... Shouldn't we convert it in symmetric form then multiple... I think the ansers would b betr... Instead of multiplying 48''X 48''X 6'? Can't we do it like 48''X48''X72'' =? Plz clear this concept...
Simple method: Suppose length is 500 cms (5 meter) and girth is 60 cms then, 500×60×60×2.2072 (Length×girth×girth×2.2072) After multiplying all these u will get 3,972,960 Here, first three numbers is CFT 3.97 Note: Consider ,(coma) as . (Point)
Even me I am thinking without conversion inches into feet how could he multiply it, for multiplication or divide the unit of measurement should be same.

The basic formula is pie*r*r*h Radius r = circuumference /2 which is measured in inch which when converted is to be divided by 12 Now volume in cft= c*c*h/4*12*12*4
