@Dawid Stasiak Haha.. Just think what will happen when your really doing the same thing practically.. It just a guideline for beginners.. So chill bro😛
@@AndyQ8 i will be adding a practical video for round about in my channel. So u will get a more better idea about it. Will also tag you... Will be uploading the video by today..
This video was made by Sécurité Routière, a French government agency. Rules here only apply to France. Rules can change depending on which country you drive in
In my area, we have this round about (6x) and beside that round about, there is also bicyle lane and pedestrian lane which is more confusing if you are a beginner.😅
It's incredible how many people don't understand this. Give way to any traffic on the roundabout thats it. Watch for traffic coming from your left or right depending if you are a LHD or RHD country respectively. Outside lanes for 1st and 2nd exits inside lanes for 3rd and 4th unless signed otherwise.
@@thomasgray5406 What??? I live in Spain and you always join roundabout by giving a way to any traffic on the roundabout, actually, you have a line before entering a roundabout that is saying you to give a way Of course mostly nobody will say anything to you if you decide to give a way to somebody entering roundabout, but its incorrect
they key here is to look 3sides for second before you dive in roundabout, also in everything we do, first we need couarge and then lots of practise, then everythings turn normal or habit
use right signal to indicate that you’re going to exit either 1st or 2nd and drive on the outer space of roundabout. use left signal to indicate that you’re going to exit 3rd or gonna make u-turn and use the inside space. is this correct?
Oh I thought left turns just exited from the left lane....then again I'm from America so I haven't actually studied or read the road rules seriously yet lol.
Yes, I also often see Americans not signalling when leaving the roundabout. You should always signal right (in a right-hand traffic country) after the last entrance to the roundabout before your exit so that people entering the roundabout know that you're leaving it and don't have to wait for you.
Hi, 😊(I am sorry for my bad english, I am french) The problem is here. Few countrys are driving in left (and don't use the metric system). Consequently, those countrys are lost when they must understand something they don't. Everyone should driving on the right side, and use the metric system. (R.I.P England😅)
Inefficient. Avoiding lane changes is better for traffic. Always use the outside lane when possible. If it is not possible, then another round to the roundabout.
@@Isla_pm sometimes you go on the inner lane and when you want to leave the roundabout, there's a car to your right on the outer lane. And behind the car there's many more. This always makes me nervous. What do I do in this situation? Do I have to yield and wait for a clear passage or do they have to yield and let me pass? Busy roundabouts are scary, normal ones are fun
@@duomi1314 ik this was a year ago lol but have you found an answer? My guess is to just keep going around the roundabout to avoid clogging up traffic, then try again, in most scenarios there should be enough space to change lanes, if you use your indicator properly, other drivers in the outer lane can give you more space
@@duomi1314 first lane have priority over the second, second have priority over third and so on. If you move for the first or second exit (in case is positioned ahead) you should stay on first lane.. other than first or second exit you use other lanes. As a mention you can use second lane as well for the second exit but if you go for an exit that is positioned somewhere in the left side you don t use first lane. Regarding your specific question, you can wait if you don t block the traffic or you can do a circle until you get space. There may be different situations in which data mai change like being only 2 exits, one in the right side and the second to left.. there if you go to the second exit you go on the second lane. Sorry for my poor english Edit: If the roundabout has 2 lanes and the exit 2 lanes you don t need to wait or anything, you use the second lane of the exit…
Yep they cause that many accidents its insane most kiwi drivers would not get a license in another of country's yhey are fkn shocking to put in mildly go to Australia another safer for your well being
This is normal in European countries, but I think it's forbidden in North America. In some European countries you're only allowed to exit the roundabout from the outside lane and from both lanes you can continue around the roundabout, but this varies from country to country.
What if the guy on the outside lane keeps going past an exit and you change lanes. This happens all the time. they honk at me for cutting them off while I’m exiting. That’s why I hate roundabouts.
Just dont get the left lane. If you have an idiot that stays in right lane youll get tboned or slide swiped. And people never use the yeild signs they just fly right through. I hate roundsbouts.
I've never heard of outside lane for 2nd exit in a 2 lane roundabout. Its easy, outside lane for when you're about to get (so no 2nd exit bs) and inside lane for every other exit
First step is wrong 😑 You can’t turn from there and go right immediately there are a turn road so take that one but if you are in the Ring road you have to take a complete circle 360 to the then go right
