@@xiii000 it's not so much that they thought it was a good idea, more a limitation of the game it's self at the time. now that they have made beaches work in the sims4 they could go back and try a similar method to get pools to work, but at this time i am sure it's not a priority for them. pools have always been as such for the sims, I think the next sims game they put out they should think about that in development and start off with beaches, pools with stairs and terrain tools from the start of the whole thing, but who knows what challenges the next engine they work with will bring them...
And those metal railings on the stairs for when you go in for commercial types! I was just in the hotel pool last weekend and they’d be perfect for hotel builds or community pools!
@@zuko803 Build Mode --> Fountains --> Find 'Stoney Goodness Slab'. Resize it and use different heights [Use bb.moveobjects on). Then you can make stairs with that, it looks pretty cool.
I’m always so amazed at the creativity of the sims community! I’m 28 and have been playing since I was a kid it never gets old! Anyone else just like building and designing but not actually controlling the sims? 😂
This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful tutorials I have ever seen. No words necessary to explain the process and yet very easy to follow. Scale 1 to 10 this is definitely a 20! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤
if you're having problems with rotating those little tiles freely like in the video, try switching camera mode from sims 4 to sims 3. input moveobjects on. then press alt+left mouse button (both at the same time. don't let go of alt until you're finished rotating) and rotate them in any direction.
This video is great! Very creative! :) Just a little tip though, you can hold Shift while placing an object that only places one at a time. You can hold Shift and Alt at the same time too to have the free rotation. Doing this will make it to where you do not have to place a bunch or keep going back to the tray at the bottom.
Hola!!!! Solo quiero decirte que soy de México, y soy tu fan!!! Haces unos vídeos tan increíbles! Que con cada espacio inspiras!!! FELICITACIONES UN GRAN TRABAJO!!!
Wowww. 😲..what a super job 😄. I dont know if i would have had the patience to do that.😰..you are really awsome...but imagine Maxis next extension include round pool tools. .😲😨. all this beautiful work in vain..😱...but until that happens i think this is really cool to know and learn how to do it. Thank you Marmelad for your genius mind and share. 😊😘
*does anybody know the cheat code of where to make things go wherever u want? not for them to merge but so there’s like none of the squares on the floor*
