When the time comes, in the ‘Most Baptist State of the world’, Every Naga Church (from this former headhunting people) celebrates their year of Jubilee.
Mezoma Baptist Church Choir and members did it in a unique way during their Church Jubilee, combining the Naga traditional and Christian traditional songs.
Here, the Church Jubilee Choir Starts with a Folk song medley. As other Church members march in; all rise to their feet, and with the quintessential Angami Naga war cry (Mepfü), the Rousing Halleluya Chorus is sung.

It was by chance that I got to view this amazing video of a celebration by Nagas in the most Baptist State in the world outside America. Sometime back I researched the history of this amazing people whose ancestors were head hunters that converted to Christianity just over a century ago. They have remained faithful to the true gospel as taught to them by American and UK Missionaries and have passed the torchlight on through each generation. There are a number of States in N E India that are of Mongolian ancestry. Nagaland is the largest and the other State I got to love is Mizoram also a very progressive and strongly Christian State. The Nagas are a deeply religious people, proud of their history and culture and this is beautifully depicted in this video as they shout their War Cry and passionately sing the victory song of the Christian faith the "Hallelujah Chorus".

Yes sir. It was the American Missionaries who had come to our land to s pread the word of God and we Nagas were blessed. This is my village Mezoma we just celebrated 75 years on the 18th of Dec. . People of the village who attened the celebration young and old stood to accompany the Choir. Praise God 😇
