The music was my genuine main concern when they announced the remake, and I’m not disappointed in the slightest. Kudos to you Nintendo for remaking and somehow bettering a flawless soundtrack
Well, it wasn’t flawless, though it did have some really nice songs. I’d say Gen 3 (the original versions) had fewer problems in its soundtrack. Sort of opposite to DPP->BDSP, where they largely messed up with ORAS. Although some of the original tracks in DPP were better, like the bike theme and a few others. Also, I appreciate that they weren’t afraid to explore and tried a new and different style with Eterna Forest, but still like the original more. It isn’t bad though, just not necessarily to my taste.
The only soundtracks I think ORAS downgraded are the Pokemon Center Theme and the Lass encounter theme. The new soundtracks (like Soaring Dreams/Illusions and Lorekeeper Zinnia Battle theme are amazing!
First adventure, exploration First adventure, exploration Took my first steps out from home, What will I discover? I can't wait to find some Pokemon and friends Now I hear a shake, shake, shake, shake Over in the grassy field But wait, wait, wait, wait, It just noticed me It's a Bidoof that's nesting by the water And a Starly that's perched up in the treetops
This was my favorite song from D/P on the DS back in 2007 when I was 10/11 years old. Here I am, turning 26 on the 12th of January finding this version and feeling that same feeling of pure beauty with music I felt as a kid with this song ❤️
Lyric : I just caught a Geodude Geodude is awesome! He learned Rock Smach quickly Now we will go break things! Smash smash smash smash Smashy and a smashy and a Smash smash smash smash No rocks left to smash! Looky! There's potion fell out the rock It's shiny, and useful for all of my needs!
THE NOSTALGIA BRO. i remember playing platinum on my ds as my first game and got to the tunnel to oreburgh. i had just gotten a psyduck. my ds then died and didn't get any charge until 1 year ago.
I've had this song stuck in my head the last few days and I couldn't remember where it's from. However, I did associate it with chibi walking, so I decided to check the soundtrack for BDSP and there it was. Guess the chibi style was good for something after all. XD
Shota Kageyama's rearranging philosophy strongly compares to those of Ryo Nagamatsu. Despite the remixes, the in-game determination proved to be a total bust.
