Route of the Hiawatha 

On my way out to see my daughter in Washington State, I took a spin on the famed Route of the Hiawatha rail-trail in Idaho and Montana. With miles of deep aromatic pine forests, tons of trestles and tunnels from the old days of the railroad and spectacular broad views of the Bitterroot Mountains, this qualifies as some of the best thirty miles I've ever ridden!
