I found Damian's music during a difficult period a few years ago, like, I first listened to Sadness when the Circle of Veins album came out. But after that, my passion for it didn't go away. Now I'm living my life really well, and his music complements that, especially the releases of recent years. I like to think that I grew up a little bit with Life, Comforting and Sadness, for which I want to say thank you!! You make things that I see stylish and beautiful

Everyone else is growing up and moving on to better and brighter things but I'm still stuck in the Close mindset. It gets harder and harder to relate to the clean vocal optimistic sound but I still appreciate it and I'm glad it exists. I'm just stuck in 2014
Agreed. Miss the sound and just the vibe this project had on the first five albums. Can't relate at all to the new stuff, but good on him for putting out what his heart tells him. Guess I'm just glad I got the early CDs when I did lol

I miss a lot the old Sadness, precisely 2015-2019. Not complaining, i like this new Sadness phase and i listen to, but the fact is that these latest releases are totally dissociating from what we know as ''sadness',' both the meaning of the word and the band. It became some kind of emo punk, idk how to define. It's being less innovative with each release. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like that's going to change soon, but at least we have Trhä to make the balance.
