Thanks for the shout outs. That is going to be another leval of driving experience compared to a Baja chassis. Both are fun. But the 4x4 and a track racing inspired buggy is always a blast .
Yeah, that was from one of my old editing apps before I even met Rocky. I was lucky to have it when I switched over to my new phone I’m not to text savvy and didn’t do it right so I lost the app that created all those cool things I got a new one it’s more expensive and that is good, thanks for watching brother Eric. God bless you my dude.
BROTHER MIKE!! Hey man great to see ya over here Ive been meaning to send you a vid if my show piece I built I know you will appreciate it. And yessss love this buggy! I cant wait to work on it! Hope you and the families are well!! 🙏🤝🤝🤝 🇦🇺🇺🇸
What a cool buggy! I like the shorter wheelbase. The newer version MCD with the LWB are really considered 1/4 scale. Flippin huge lol. Great break down of this buggy. Happy braaping brother!
Hey brother Gorely thanks man I glad you like it. You will love all the parts I got coming for this bad boy! Its gonna be awesome! Even more cooler than it already is! I know its a super fun piece to work on for sure!!
Yes you are correct. The MCD is the same as basic car as long as you buy RR5 model parts. The Max version of MCD is longer but all in the back area . Making a few rear area differences.
Hey man, you’re very welcome brother I really enjoy making these videos just for fun and to help people out and may be deciding to buy one of these or just sharing my knowledge so people can learn something. This is my favorite hobby and I love the wrenching part best!
Beautiful my brother!! I absolutely love mine my dude!!!! Love the comparison my brother!!! The 38 is gonna rip in that beast!!! The Gas King has spoken!🏆🏆🏆👑👑👑💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥⛽️⛽️⛽️⚡️
😆 thank you brother Rocky. I’m glad you like the video man. I love all of your videos too. You’re doing a fantastic job keep up the great work my Christian brother in Christ.
One cool buggy, pipe looks awesome, I'm thinking Rocky will be sending it off the death ramp 🤔 he usually doesn't discriminate....he sends them all..👍👍
😆😆😂Rocky has not been sending his gas rigs I think he may have learned a lesson from the death of the Ram truck! These gas cars are heavy and hit hard. This is made for a track really where there is a down side to the jumps
Looking forward to some of your wrenching videos on this one jeff. Since this doesn't have a center differential I would remove one pair of those brake disc's, and use springs in between the pads to make sure they release cleaner every time.
@@eastsiderc rbinnovations makes a kit for the five t, it may fit. This would be a great buggy to bring to the races if you make it down here this season.
@@eastsiderc it's a brake pad spring kit, just 4 small springs that helps brakes release better. It was a common hop up on the losi 8 platforms as well. I am sure you could come up with some springs yourself, but for 5 bux for the rbinnovations kit I think it would be worth a try to see if it fits the D5 /mcd buggy. The mcd buggy offers 3 options for center drive. Regular differential, spool, or a limited slip type torsen diff. I have no idea if they fit the D5 platform though
Hey Momma Thunder I hope you are feeling better I prayed for you! And thank you so much! Im so happy! I need to text you so we can have a chat! ❤️❤️❤️I love yall so much! Yall are such dear friends! Rocky is beside himself right now 😆😆
@@eastsiderc thank YOU so much for praying for me. I was quite sick, very sick a couple of days , but doing much better today. Praise the Lord. I’m so happy for you with you new RC car addition !!
Aww thank you so much! And you are more than welcome I try to make sure I pray for the Chatwell family everyday! And this brapper Its nothing shy of a blessing! Because I keep God first so He continues to bless me with things I like! I feel like God enjoys watching me work and have fun with this mechanical minded brain 🧠 He has placed in my head!
Hey buddy I was looking through my vids I already have made videos on the MTXL and the XLT they are not hard to fine! I show them really good so you can just check them out so I don't have to do repeat content! Im sure I would get criticized for it! The MTXL says massive billet monster done, and the other says XLT is doneski haha! very easy to find in my vids brother! if you can't find them let me know and I will send links!
Ill just use these for now. I think they are glued all the way around. They are a copy of how ever MCD does it. I can always changed them when they wear out brother or rip off the rim 😆
That's SWEET man looking forward to seeing the videos on it. I am going to get some money soon and I am going to get a 1/5 4×4 not shur what to get maby that one not shur hope you have a great week later
Its a little like it but quite different. Its more like the first version if the MCD buggy! Thats what its modeled after! It sure us fun to work on. I cant wait to see how it going to brap.
Nice you may want to go throw the diffs on them Cause I found out on there diff don’t have O rings on diff so there were just grease in them not diff fluid in them at least on there street car bud
Oh yea Im going to be going through these diffs and checking them out! I dont like greased diffs I prefer diff fluid! And the diffs feel a little loose for my liking. Ill get it all tight n right! Thanks for the advice Jim!
Hey brother... you had any luck getting that 36cc dual ring motor to produce any performance? Mine starts good but performs like hell no matter the tuning.
No sir I sent mine back and traded it for a Zen G320 . But let me tell you bro. If you get a single ring piston and put that in your 36 it will help it tremendously!
