Here is my Rovan lt 360 from rc modelz here In the UK. if you like the video please subscribe for more content in the future on this build. Thanks for watching.
Mine came today I agree not keen on the paint going to spray the shell and add my own decals plus get a 30 dnt body, also ordered the kill switch but never fitted one before
im getting 45cc with that sweet monster energy black/green painting. bought the cheapest rovan baja from banggood to 'feel' for the quality of rovan after reading so many negarives on the internet - its not that bad, its very usable car, sure, far from perfect, but with some work and not that much money put into it it can make decent rig imo.
stock servos are surprisingly good with lipo, steering servo on that baja is 60kg and i can say its really strong and fast enough on lipo. on 6v forget, its very slow and doesnt allow you to effectrively countersteer when oversteering. though stock steering components area made of out of flexible plastic control over bumps is pretty bad, also stock servo saver is pretty useless, its way too weak, but at least you wont strip gears in it. you have to get aluminum servo arm and aluminm steering rack would be good choice, steering control and precision will improve dramatically. i for now bought just alu saver arm, since in whole f**** europe aluminum 1/5 servo arms are out of stock, and full alu steering is too expensive for me to get for 440€ baja. its supposed to be cheap rig as first time petrol so im not guna put too much money into it, just enough to make it fun to drive. oh and also it handles like total crap and for some reason flips on almost every small jump its super annoying, but that may be partially my fault for putting sunflower oil into shocks which make shocks a lil too soft. Springs are way too hard, but also can't get anywhere spring from hpi baja , especially soft(yellow ones). THat would improve handling dramatically
Hi Aaron, thank you for this video. You're right, there isn't really many useful videos of this car available, this is much better thank you. What made you pick this over the 30dnt, was it the engine size?
Hi Andy thanks for your comment. Yes it's a great car for the money I decided I wanted the 36cc as had a little more power over the 32 cc in the dnt truck... although both are the same platform. I will upload more videos later in the year or after winter time of all the mods and break in video etc. These cars have had good reviews in the USA.
sorry but completely useless presentation like most on youtube. talking about colors of the body and what pipe you will install is not interesting or helpful to anyone... show suspension travel, is there much play in suspension and steering, hows fitment, hows quality of aluminum/plastics, shows screws and hardness of them, show how fast/strong servos are, hows build quality, any loose screws etc... thats the stuff you want to show/talk about
