No it is a 2 litre V6, which I think is well underpowered (I was hiring it). I was going to get a Rover 75 but was unimpressed with the gearbox and have now bought a BMW 530, amazing car.

Interesting, thanks for the comment. How do I check the VANOS - would I need to take it in to a garage? It seems fine but then I guess I don't know how it should be. It's been kept extremely well though, proper services etc. Would they pick up on this sort of thing in the service?

@samson666 I was hiring it. The engine was so underpowered, I think it was a 1.6. May have been a 1.8, I can't remember what options they did.

ECU problem i think, anyway , ours does this but not as much and without engine drop
