Rover P5b Alternator Overhaul Part 2: Bench Testing 

I visit Mr Trimmel in his wonderful workshop where he bench tests my Lucas 11AC alternator he has just rebuilt. He also tests my new solid state 3AW and new old stock 4TR units and treats me to a tour of his spares department packed full of electrical car parts for classic British cars.
I plan to visit Mr Trimmel in the Autumn with my starter motor and have a longer chat with him about his 60 years fixing British cars.
