Rovinj ist eine kroatische Hafenstadt an der Westküste der Halbinsel Istrien. Die Altstadt, deren Häuser dicht gedrängt am Wasser stehen, befindet sich auf einer Landzunge. Verwinkelte, kopfsteingepflasterte Gassen führen zu der auf einem Hügel gelegenen Kirche der Heiligen Euphemia hinauf, deren hohe Turmspitze das Stadtbild prägt. Südlich der Altstadt befindet sich die Bucht Lone, einer der zahlreichen Kieselstrände der Region.
Rovinj is a Croatian port town on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. The old town, whose houses are closely packed by the water, is located on a headland. Winding, cobbled streets lead up to the Church of St. Euphemia, which is located on a hill and whose high spire dominates the townscape. South of the old town is the bay of Lone, one of the region's many pebble beaches.
