Rowallane House and Garden ranks as one of my favourite places to visit. It's a National Trust property on the outskirts of the village of Saintfield in County Down, Northern Ireland, just around a twenty minute drive from where I live. Places like this can make a huge contribution to our wellbeing. There's something about walking through a forest or enjoying the variety of bloom in a garden that simply leaves us feeling at peace. The object of this short video is to just give a flavour of the 50 acre garden and forest walk. Inside the house, there's a cafe and a second hand bookshop. Just be aware that visiting National Trust properties is not free, so it would be best to check on the current charge before visiting.
