The way it is done here it gets little too much cause he has beardhair that’s not dyed. But that beard that he dyed have now the same colour as his hair which in a way makes it look natural. But since you can see his beardcolour on his cheeks the dye is quite obvious. Having a beard matching to the hair on the top of the head looks at least in 99% of cases good. My friend has to dye his hair cause he wants it to be as dark as the beard.... his hair is blond but not his beard.... looks little odd i’d say and matching them up works. The same other way around with darkhaired guys with light beards. But personally in this case i would have gone clean at cheeks and i would have dyed the beard before trimming cause that would have make the lines a little more natural...
