He has said that himself that he is studying because he is not a great singer. Add the fact that he is not singing in his native language, the feeling isn't there. I watch the Voice from Spain from time to time and a lot of the contestants that are not chosen is because they sang in another language, they might have been technically perfect, but the emotion, feeling, connection to the song was not there, and if the singer does not connect to the song, how is he going to transmit anything to his audience? Afterwards they are asked if they also sing and Spanish and are asked to sing a song, and you can immediately tell the difference, in the voice, body language, interpretation just everything. Is great to be able to sing in different languages but to become an Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian that no matter what language they are singing in, they just cut straight to your heart you really have to work on your craft. He seems to be a hard worker, I am really rooting for him, if he keeps studying, taking voice lessons, develop his breathing to gain better control of it to support notes etc, and works on stage presence he will only become better with time.
