When you're so confident in your reads, you have the balls to just stand still in the middle of a match and respond correctly, TWICE. Experience never lies. Props to JDCR
@@davipenha yeah hes actually good online. Still doesn't take away from the fact that it was against fahk. It was all JDCR. The amount of correct reads he had on the lows and highs was mind boggling
Nah it's Arslan, and I'm a Knee mark, BUT with that being said the Top 5, hell the top 20 pros in Tekken are all insanely good. Arslan Knee JDCR Awais Honey Atiff Butt Jimmy Shadow Anakin Cuddle Core Majin RIB Nobi Saint Noroma Chikurin Jeonding Super Akouma Sephiblack K Wiss Speed Kicks Yuyu Tanakuna Gen AK Abel Del Maestro Puma Eyemusician CBM Book Dimeback Anddd those are just off the top of my head, all those players are ridiculous.
🛡⚔Armor King has always been an epic character! He is also one of my faves! Fahkumram on the other hand isn't so interesting. Fahkumram is a dry and boring character.
Completely unrelated, but I've gotten really good at my electrics. The problem is I main jin, and i can consistently whiff punish with my electric, but when I changed to any other mishima I have a much harder time whiff punishing. Is it easier with Jin? Maybe there is something about the hookfist that makes it easier to connect compared to the regular electric ?
Ye he has 2 electric versions which you can slide the inputs to execute the command The other Mishimas (Kazuya and Devil Jin specifically) have traditional inputs of a " * neutral " command which you have to respect and can't simply slide a button. I believe they have 'just-frame' inputs to bring an electric out (small window) so you either see a d2 low punch or an electric from players
@@sultan788 That makes sense. Thanks. Although isnt Kazuyas electric easier somewhat? I practiced and it looks like his dash electric is a bit easier than D jin and heihachi. I think the input is ff df 2. The second forward puts him in that mid step thing that allows the electric out faster if I'm not mistaken.
@@annerabichand9626 ah so Kazuya has 2 different versions too A "Perfect Electric" PEWGF (~13f) And traditional (~14f) like the other Mishimas The 14f is what most people hit, and comes in the variation of: f, n, d, d/f+2 The 13f has the command you're most likely speaking of: f, n, df+2 which you have to hit 'df2' all in 1 frame and just-frame time window after mist step. This is alot harder to do and are called perfect electrics for that reason, this is the only efficient way to do his df+2 PEWGF combo You might just be more comfortable with Kazuya for electrics at this point, dash electric is generally speaking more difficult, but gives more thinking time and setup to get the input speed right for those uncomfortable, you should try sidestep electricn too to see if you like that (up or down then electric). You can also do ff, electric rather than just f, electric to get more distance. Unsure why DJ or Heihachi seem harder, probably because they don't have the freedom of another variant electric the way Kazuya does, or have hard ff+2 inputs as part of coding to their other moves
@@annerabichand9626 i should add too, the animations for hookfist vs electric are really different if i'm thinking right, animations are extremely specific in a 3d 4-way movement game Jin's hookfist is literally a hook, lunging forward from the side and hitting the character's side chest/arms hurtbox (a characters in-game model skeleton, not their clothes) Other Mishimas and Armor King have an uppercut, straight to the front of the chest/chin, without lunging forward Unless you're holding the "f" or dash command input longer than intended, the lack of distance is overcome by constsntly redoing mist step, also known as wavedashing, that way they can punish with electrics
@@sultan788 Thank you for that, it's really helpful bro. I've literally improved my electric game tremendously since. I realised that the difficulty I was facing was simply because of my comfort with the character. It's sort of mental. With jin and kaz, I actually play the characters , but DJ and Hei I only tried out their electrics. It's hard to explain, but once I started labing and actually learning DJ I found myself relying on the electric alot less, which made me hit them more consistently. Either that or I just got more practice in and its showing lol. Anyway, I appreciate the time you put into responding
