what is this type of dance called?

It’s definitely a unique thing, but based heavily on ballroom Paso Doble, with elements of American Smooth Tango (which is very different from Argentine Tango or International Tango). But it’s mostly Paso Doble.

This looks like a weird and beautiful combination of Argentine Tango, American Smooth, and even a bit of Paso Doble, but I confess, when the pair comes together, what the woman does with her left arm is something I've only seen in International Standard, so please, someone educate me!

Too fabulous for words! A fierce Tango reminiscent of the Apache dance of the 1950s, not often seen today. It sure takes incredible amounts of strength, and there's nothing quite like the tension and passion it generates. BRAVO Natalya and Umario!!!!!

На мой взгляд самое лучшее исполнении танго. Тут и огонь и страсть и эмоции и накал страсти и все под музыку с музыкой, быстрый темп и ты видишь эти эмоции, как они кипят, медленный темп и ритм танца становится размеренным и плавным. Лучше пока не встречала, к сожалению.

i saw it when it came out (9 march 2014) just before my birthday and then saw it again a few days back while going through my playlists... from 2014 to 2020 this is still one of the best performance for Roxanne!!!! Let's getit the recognition it deserves!! Make it go viral!!!

She is accomplished. leggy and beautiful, a worthy partner for him. But now HE impressed me!. He knows how to bring it. His body lines are consistently well timed to match up with hers, greatly increasing the viewers pleasure in seeing their beautiful classic forms so well in tune. And his moves are crisp and well executed, with masculine authority. There is no doubting his ability or involvement. Bravo, dude! Very well done, Mario!

I am dancing for 36 years and this is one of the best performances I ever had the privilege to see. Passion, Love, devotion. The steps in the beginning is a perfect opening, the smacking sound in the end is a closing statement and everything inbetween is purity of expression. Are there components that are not strictly ballroom? Come on, who cares! Don‘t ruin the moment by doing something called „Klugscheisserei“ in German!

I loved this. I am a big fan of Moulin Rouge. I thought it ambitious of you to update the dance from that section of the movie. But you totally crushed it. I love Moulin Rouge, one of my top musical movies. Nicole Kidman was my idol when i was a little girl just 7 years when i saw Moulin Rouge for the first time, Nicole she is so phenomenal ever since in my eyes. Will forever have Nicole in my heart, she was magical and Evan oh my goodness, That man can sing, and Koman.. the most sensual erotic voice ever! Remarkable acting of everyone involved.
