Because it's not a competitive queue. People play Brawl to have fun, and standing around watching other people dunk on you isn't fun. This is why they desperately need to add a PvE option to Arena, because nobody enjoys being someone else's punching bag. Case in point - 17:05, where the opponent nukes CGB's creature while building a big and growing unanswerable board presence, there's no reason for a person who doesn't need to make video content for a living to keep playing.

@@kylekonop4801 I find your comment to be short sighted and self centered. It's not your fault, playing arena feels like a solo event. But it's not solo, it's a shared event. There is a player on the other side wanting to have fun, just like you. Now if the only way you have fun is by "having all the answers" and not in watching a game unfold and enjoying the process regardless of winning then you tend to forget that someone on the other side is having a blast winning. I give you it's more fun to watch someone sit across from you, but if we could all remember that, there's another person on the other side of this and not just an NPC then I think this game becomes more fun for all of us. Scooping just because you don't have the win and that you are no longer having fun is a normal human experience but it's usually also indicative that you forgot someone else is playing with you.

Roxanne is such an annoying commander. Any commander that pays their own commander tax when you play them is just so hard to deal with unless you're running specifically counterspells.

That happened to me in brawl once, but it seems a bit slow for standard. There are games that I'm sending 20+ trample dmg at you on turn 5.

@lucasdunk2536 I made a new account for fun and pretty much built my limited deck with the free packs. It's looking like a Gruul beat-down banger. The deck wants to Goldhound into turn 2 Urabrasks forge, another forge, plot Railway Brawler, play Brawler and a kicked Colossal Growth or H&A Partner's to buff and haste the Brawler. 9+8+6 trample incoming. I did pull off a turn 4 otk with Azrag, the Quake-Mole, on turn three, and some combat tricks.
