Marie doesn't get enough credit here. Without her contributions on vocal harmonies and freestyling Roxette could have sounded rigid to the point of robotic. She's the fresh air of every track. No disrespect to Per at all! Theyr'e a perfect pairing.
They were great together, but «Per Gessle’s Roxette» is great too❣️ Marie is missed, but he plays the music with only Helena Josefsson and the other back-up singer and it is great too❣️ And all the music Per made with Gyllene Tider, his other, Swedish language, band - is really great and would have been popular Internationally too, had it been in English, IMO.
@@lottatroublemaker6130 Marie had raw passion in her voice while Helena sounds like a 5 year old girl... Sorry to be mean, but I can't stand her childish voice. Maybe Marie encouraged Per to continue with Roxette, but then I think she made a mistake because no one could replace her - ever. Of course Per can do as he wishes with his own songs, but Roxette is over. I hope he realizes that. Just my opinions.
Si lo traducen al español 😢solo entiendo que nunca se privaron de nada , las giras , la comida , los viajes, todo lo dejaban en el escenario, daban lo mejor de si para sus fans,y nunca los fui a ver😥😭😭😭
Have you ever seen a fun interview with Roxette? I haven't, but I've seen many where the interviewer low key insults her by calling Per a genius without knowing or caring that Marie really contributed to a lot of the songs too, even if it was after they were first written. And she wasn't a fake person, why would she smile all the time when I'm pretty sure she didn't enjoy interviews?
She didn't like interviews in general, but she seemed to dislike particularly this one, she looked pretty bored and didn't bother to hide it 😄. Which I adore. It must have been exhausting and boring to answer the same questions over and over again. There are though some interviews, where she laughed and seemed relaxed, most of them in Swedish (if not all).
