Hi Marnelle. My hands can handle hand sewing for just so long before they begin to hurt. I have arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I love to stitch but, like you, need to rest my hands from time to time. Be good to yourself. Your lovely project will get done when it gets done.

I am so impressed with your skills and the beautiful sewing roll you’ve designed and made. The embroidery on the flowers and all the tiny background stitches are just gorgeous beyond words. Blessings and put some ice on your hands as you rest them.

😅l love the colors that you chose. I finished my hussif. I did mine with black and white fabrics, and I added some lace, rickrack, and charmes with sewing theme.

ZWOW! So much beautiful stitchery! Very detailed, but the results are stunning. You are not doing anything wrong.. perhaps a few small breaks while stitching. I UNDERSTAND getting into the zone and only realizing how long I've been stitching, crocheting, knitting...etc, when my hands start cramping/hurting along with a sore neck. So, I need to take my own advice...lol.😊
