Just beautiful. The nylon netting on the roses is so beautiful. I may try that. Just love your work and love watching the process. I learn so much from all you wonderful utube ladies. If you are experiencing loneliness as a senior, doing something like this is wonderful. Almost like a sewing bee I think they called it where ladies got together to work on a quilt. They were really ahead of their time. Utube helps feel like that even tho you are not together In person. Thank you utube!!

Oh so wonderful, I just at age 67 received a very nice singer sewing machine, tabletop, and then the very same week I was gifted a gorgeous singer vintage tweedle machine with a beautiful cabinet that has been serviced and works perfectly. I have never sewn in my life but am watching videos and just starting the journaling. I like the sewing along with journaling. Love what you do and am so glad I found you. Going to look for tutorials on the different types of stitches and such. I have antiques and plenty of lace to start with, so here I go, and thanks for your videos. Rita

Where do I start Jeanette? Every single inch of this is brilliant but I must say the most inspiring part of this page is what you did to the rose petals! I know I can’t do that but you inspire me so much! I feel the same with Lauretta as well! I love your frayed edges. I used a vintage Sanderson linen fabric and I have frayed edges all over. I over stitched all of my flowers too. I think it looks a bit shabby chic.
