Seen him 4 times. I absolutley love Chubbs. I was lucky enough to meet him on the North Pier in Blackpool after the show. I got his autograph had a little chat. He is such a sweetheart.

What some people don't understand is that people who perform on stage create a 'persona' , usually the 'persona', is nothing like the 'real person'. People pay to see the 'persona'. I have been on stage all my working life as an entertainer and at times a Compere on Road shows, and have seen both sides of famous entertainers and take it from me they are usually like two very different people, Lenny Henry who I toured with on his Road show as Compere comes instantly to my mind. I have never worked with Roy, but I would bet off-stage he is just a nice ordinary man who probably does not swear much and is polite and quite ordinary, that is till he walks on stage and the 'other' Roy' takes over.

Seen him tonight in Cwmbran, I left with a numb jaw was laughing so much, he is funny as fuck

Jimmy Saville and his mates did a lot for charity .....I will say as an Asian I found Bernard manning to be a guy who aim was to be use race as a tool for his humour , he had a mild acceptable racism for someone his age and was genuinely funny . Roy brown uses humour as a tool for his nasty racism , he's not funny and should not be compared to Bernard
