@@UltraZooted honestly he was messi if he could mantain the amount of athleticism at higher weights , i mean he was 74 kgs which is high in itself but imagine this much athelticism at 85+ kgs , i would defenietly call him messi then , bcz that would mean he is the best ever
Evander beats Tyson, him and Usyk are the same height & Holyfield has just as great footwork and boxing fundamentals and skills as Usyk. But Holyfield has more power if it was prime Holyfield when he was fighting Foreman going against Tyson Fury it’s lights out
@@DD2Taccyes Holyfield and Usyk are similar size, but different styles. Usyk is a little more technical with higher ring IQ and is a southpaw with trickier foot work. Holyfield is more athletic and more well rounded than Usyk with better stamina and speed. When it comes to Holyfield vs Fury, I think it would be an incredibly exciting fight. Both are head strong--literally they had incredible mental strength and can take a punch. But neither of them are elite punchers, so it probably goes the distance. Holyfield could steal rounds with his high work rate and speed, while Fury could spoil with his long reach, shifty movements, and unorthodox punches from odd angles. Gun to my head, I'd favor Holyfield to take a close decision, but in a best of 3 I could see Fury winning one. Fury's one of the most elite super heavies of all time and would be hard for many people to deal with h2h, but Holyfield could do it.
I love Roy Jones Jr.!!! My favorite Boxer to watch. He just loved and enjoyed every moment in that ring. He fought prize fights like he would play pick up basketball. He truly boxed for the simple love of Boxing. He just enjoyed being in the ring because just loved what he was doing. And it showed.
@@daddypfp734 I like Carmelo Alvarez too and Carmelo Alvarez is a good boxer, one of the most active boxer in his generation, but Roy Jones Jr is better when it comes to speed, reflexes durability power, charisma, and a ring genius
Sometimes people in the comments, want you to be unconfident in yourself, humble. it’s good to see Roy Jones at 60 years old, still talkin ish and proud
Enjoyed Jones Jr.'s style. Like Ali, exciting and fast. He was good with footwork..all the way to the jabs and straights. A killer shot in his arsenal. He just didn't have the reach Ali had. Loved the no look jabs, combos, counters, hand speed, foot speed, and shuffling/dancing. Muhammad Ali is also my favorite..the GOAT, respectfully. There are many greats, and it's never clear cut.
A lot of that was a facade though. Check his resume and it becomes clear that he fought more greats than just about anybody in history. That said, I'd pick Leonard. He may be too big for Floyd. Prime Fliyd vs Duran at lightweight might the best matchup.
@@J-Hue I don't need a boxing lesson bro, I been a boxing fan since I was 7 years old. He could have fought a prime margarito, a prime paul williams, he could have fought sergio martinez, kostya tszyu. He avoided the hard fights that the legacy fighters wouldn't have.
I swear; y’all be carrying Floyd like you know him. 😂 Floyd being undefeated changes absolutely nothing about what Roy said. In fact, you indirectly proved his point. Floyd ducked a lot of smoke to hold on to that zero, and he did it for financial reasons. He marketed himself as unbeatable, and that’s why he cherry picked opponents.
"Leonard fought for legacy, Floyd fought for currency". Such a wise and succinct way to explain the difference between the two. Floyd had great skills, but he wasn't a warrior like Leonard and didn't seek out the elite prime fighters as much as Leonard.
My top 10; just to put out there to debate: 1.Ali 2.Tyson 3. Jones jr 4. Floyd 5. Pacquiao 6. Holyfield 7. Bud 8. Sugar Ray L 9. Duran 10. Lennox Lewis..... These 10 are the greatest of all time to me 🤷🏾♂️💯💯
If young Canelo couldn't touch an aging Floyd, he definitely ain't touching a prime Roy. Not saying prime Canelo can't win, cuz we all know Roy didn't have the best chin.. but it'll be a huge upset in my book.
Nah. I like Holyfield but its a mismatch, Holyfield short like maybe and likwe 190-215 pounds. Fury fights at like 270 pounds, 85inch reach, 6'9. He's like a mix of Ali speed/reflexes and punching technique, with a body that even George Foreman would be jealous of. Great chin too.
If Roy would have melded in some real fundamental og boxing with his Hercules genetics, he might have been the greatest boxer to ever grace a ring. Once time took its toll and the magic powers were fading, he was stuck having to fight in an orthodox chess-type game and he just didn’t have it. But at the end of the day, if Roy in his 20’s fed you a gazelle hook, you lost the fight, period.
Evander Holyfield would whip Fury .. He literally just went off height . Bowe and Fury two different fighters.. Evander also beat that 7'0 Russian at 40+ and got robbed ..
Smh… Floyd fought for currency and so what? It doesn’t mean he couldn’t have beaten Sugar stylistically. Just because Ali is great, it doesn’t mean Mike couldn’t have knocked him out bad. We’re talking BOXING, no BS.
Roy too fast for Canelo. Prime Roy faster than Floyd Mayweather when he fought Canelo. Canelo has no chance he might even get koed Roy had serious power enough to hurt heavyweights
Marvin might have lost to stoppage against tommy Hearns had his hand not broke mid fight and he tried to run it off without thinking just to get koed when he turned around. Marvin knew that Tommy was the best most dangerous fighter of that generation which is why he came out the gate 100% from round 1 unlike for the others. Round one tommy cut open a gash on the side of Marvin's face and it was bleeding extremely bad. Marvin knew he had to keep up the pace and he did. Tommy Hearns would be Roy's worst nightmare to me. That jab is on another level than any jab I've ever seen since or before.
Hagler? The most overrated fighter in history? The guy that never moved in weight, lost to smaller Leonard ad looked bad vs an even smaller Duran? Yea right
