The premierships most important player! He led Manchester United to so many trophies and people forget what a good player he was because of a few red cards. Never lost the ball, always passed forward, always tge right pass, started off most goals but you don't get a stat for that, great tackler and reader of the game, made everyone around him better and nearly everyone who has played with him say he's the best player that they have played with
He wasn’t the most important, that would be Cantona. He won United their first title in 92/93 before Keane even arrived, and set the wheels in motion. United hadn’t won a title in 26 years before Eric, hadn’t won one in 6 years under Fergie. SAF couldn’t get over the line, 92/93 was Fergie’s 7th season with United, no titles, and sat 8th in the league, 9points off top when Eric arrived in Nov 1992, he wins them the league. Backs it up with a double in 93/94, match winner in FA Cup final, PFA Players’ Player of the Year, over 40 G/A. Eric dragged those early United sides over the line. His 95/96 season is the most influential individual campaign in Prem history. He was the catalyst to all Man Utd’s modern day success, and moulded the league into what it is now.
Great video. Keane absolutely helped his team because he demanded standards from all new players. This created a culture of excellence and ultimately winning.
Super grass Roy Keane, got done by an Arsenal fan and went running to the police to snitch with his bum chum Richards. Then they both went to court to grass again. Grassing snides
They wouldn’t have won as much as they did without Roy Keane. Every successful team in history has had a decent CDM and a brilliant captain. And in the 4-4-2 era it was a must.
Keane was such a confident and authoritative passer of a football, he’d fizz it in to feet, he’s break lines, and no one would cream their pants over it. He done the work of three modern day midfielders. It’s hard to really state just how good Keane was without coming across as a biased nostalgia merchant, but he was an all time great.
