About Royal Blood:
Brighton duo Royal Blood comprising drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr formed at the beginning of 2013. They quickly made their presence known, with pounding drums and heavily distorted bass guitar defining characteristics of their ferocious blues-rock sound. The band gained many plaudits early in their career, touring with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Foo Fighters, before going on to win Best British Group at the Brits in 2015 receiving their trophy from their musical hero and admirer Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
Their catalogue boasts the Mercury Prize nominated self-titled debut album released in 2014 that spawned hits such as "Out of the Black, "Little Monster:, "Come On Over" and "Figure it Out", as well as their second successive UK number one album "How Did We Get So Dark?" released in 2017 which featured "Lights Out" and "I Only Lie When I Love You".

@@traydaniel0403 and what does Bond sound like? All Bond themes contain that classic James Bond motif, but other than that, artists are free to do whatever they like with their theme really. The last 2 themes done by Sam Smith and Billie Eilish have been pretty safe predictable choices imo, Royal Blood's more unique sound would be perfect to kickstart the next Bond era, like Chris Cornell did with Casino Royale.

I've seen some say its in 9/8, but to my ears, that riff in the bridge starts up again after 6 counts on the hats, or two bars of three, so its tricky. Music theory be confusing sometimes XD

Very cool. The best part is at 2:27. All the other repetitions of the riff drop from the 5 to the 1 on the first couple of notes. Then there's a surprise where he drops to the b6 instead, and then on the next repetition to the 4. Really, really cool sound, kind of takes the ground away from underneath your feet.

A few years ago my girlfriend I was living with broke up with me and asked me to leave. I did, but 2 days later when I came to get the last of my stuff she had already moved her new guy in. I smashed the spare room door to pieces and left. This album on full blast got me through the drive to where I was staying without exploding and driving my car intentionally into a wall
