Two Brits showing everyone how it's done with just a bass and drums. This kind of music should be getting to the top of the charts instead of auto-tuned factory pop shite.
Toma hawk. Royal blood are great but there is loads of good music around that also does not get recognised such as Purssence, Micah P Hinson, Grant hart- all different genres (hart was the drummer of Husker Du)
Toma Hawk Royal Blood have not even released the first album yet. The others have struggled on for years. I think Royal Blood will be massive because they are a little bit different they have the songs and the vocals are superb
+Taylor Perkins I preform shows at small venues. Normally just me and a guitarist jamming some improv out. I was talking to some friends about it afterwards. They said the crowd was dead and how they thought the show was really good. Yet I didn't care, I just enjoyed playing. A lot of musicians dont care about the energy they just care about preforming
@@hellosqueakers I'm the exact same, I've performed at a festival with people just walking by and I had no crowd but I just enjoyed myself singing and playing the guitar, means way more to me that I'm actually enjoying myself.
With the last few years of rock from the UK being a bit disappointing I'm so excited for Royal Blood. The drums are tight and the bass is so catchy! Haven't heard a bad tune from these guys!
You guys in royal blood should come to the isleofwight and kick sum ass .we been waiting along time for great music to come along see you there oneday soon mabe.
I don't know why people are speaking as if royal blood is the only rock band around. We still have queen, foo fighters, etc. However I absolutely love royal blood's sound, great band with good potential.
lightfusegetaway Out of curiosity I just looked up Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and they are rocking!! Cheers lightfusegetaway, I am now about to start downloading their stuff. I have seen Royal Blood live here in the UK and when they play across the pond in your state make sure you go, they are awesome. Cheers from the UK
Aww, his bass was a bit out of tune. Still sounded great though! One of my favorite bands at the moment! ^-^ it's amazing how those two can get such a great sound with only a bass and drum kit.
Loose change Another penny in my pocket again No shame Another heart-shaped locket Choke chain With 24-carats just to hock it again There's nobody home, no there's nobody home Cause all that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold Yeah, your money don't fold Stuck stood still with your door banging Shadow through your little hole But there's nobody home, yeah there's nobody home Teeth clean, nineteen Heart's queen lookin' on the guillotine They'll get down on your floor, they'll get down on your floor Cause all that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold I wanna double my money So don't act, don't act like there's nobody home Yeah quit playin' God on your telephone Hand it over all to me About as funny as a broken bone But there's nobody home, yeah there's nobody home Cause all that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold All that glitters is gold Till the glitter gets sold and the money don't fold
Ugh... They put on great performances but it always sounds like he hits some really out of time notes on his axe. Idk if it's just sloppy playing or the actual intonation of the instrument but it's really consistent in this song
j'aime bien aussi, mais au bout de 5 morceaux à la voix, son de basse, et batterie identique, ça me fatigue un peut... Bon riff et tout et tout, mais à petite dose quoi...
The live version (here and in real life) is so much better than the studio version- on the album Mike’s vocals have too much compression, it’s almost tinny and unnatural, and it just doesn’t have the soul or passion of the live versions. That was a massive disappointment when the album came out. The first record’s production is otherwise pretty great; I don’t know why “Loose Change” got... er... short-changed. Maybe Mike was having an off-day during those vocal sessions. Oh well- if Mike and Ben release a live album (which is almost a guarantee), if they include “Loose Change” it will truly make up for how poorly Mike’s vocals were treated during the self-titled album’s editing and production.
PissedOffBrits It's not. His amount of pick attack makes it sound that way because he hit the string too hard and the force of vibration is bending the note out of pitch.
All bends when playing a bass are done by the left hand not the picking hand. Just try playing a note as aggressively as you can while playing a band and see if it changes the note.
