Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas Embarkation Day
Come along with Josh and Rachael as they embark on another Royal Caribbean Cruise, this time on Independence of the Seas our of Port Canaveral near Orlando Florida!
It's only a 3 day cruise, and we got the drink package so be ready for a party on the closest thing we have seen to a Booze Cruise! We will be going to Perfect Day at Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean's private Island) and Nassau Bahamas where we check out Blue Lagoon's Adults Only Excursion

We did 4 cruises with our niece on the Independence of the Seas, Freedom, Norwegian Getaway and the Disney Dream all in the summer with thousands of kids. We were so glad and sad at the same time when she outgrew us old folks. After 38 cruises I think the best cruise ship gym has to be The Oasis of the Seas.

Agree with you guys about best moment of the day, "stepping on the cruise ship" I still get excited when I frst step on the cruise ship. I've been on 25 cruises. Going on my 26th cruise 🛳 labor day 4nts on Navigator of the Seas.

Hey hey happy Sunday ! I like Independence of the Seas . Last time I was on it did the promenade stateroom which are fun but a tad noisy . Great ship . Looks like you had fun . I mean who doesn’t love a booze cruise lol 😎😎😎

Were there long lines for food? Any lines at all? Also, do you know if RC offers comp rooms for vegas gamblers? What days did you do your cruise? Thanks for the info!!! Debating to book this for next vacation.

Lines weren’t too long for us, late seating for dinner was but we had early seating. We actually got started with RC from a free cruise thru MGM Rewards. Got a 4 night Bahamas cruise and then after gambling on the ship we have not paid full price for a cruise since and we have done 7 in less than 2 years. We have 3 more booked already 😂 RC loyalty program and casino comps have been good to us. Also since we hit Emerald with RC we are now Gold for life with MGM Rewards as long as the two are connected

@@JoshRachael OMG that's awesome. My brother went on one cruise as well and they are offering comps to come back as well. He said he didn't even gamble that much. We also noticed the MGM rewards cruise. Maybe I will ask a Host on a cruise to see if they can comp it for us.

What slots would you say in your opinion are the best for accumulating points?

Really the best thing to do is find the one that lets you recycle your money for the budget you have. We tend to play more of the older games since they are less bonus only focused and have line hits that pay well. Most of the machines are Penny Machines or multi denim so not much variety in that sense

Please don’t take this the wrong way as I love most of your videos, but I much prefer your strictly restaurant videos to the cruise videos. You go on the same cruise lines and all the islands basically look the same.

Thanks for the feedback. Our cruise videos are our true vacation videos with hopefully some tips and entertainment for viewers. We enjoy Las Vegas a ton but without doing videos like this it would honestly be hard to keep going as much as we do with RU-vid we understand that some may like the cruises others might like Vegas and some may like them all. Comes with the territory

That's an interesting perspective, I actually enjoy their cruise videos. It's probably because I like cruising. They seem to enjoy their cruising vacations. Otherwise, they wouldn't be filming and sharing their content with you. I find, if you don't prefer certain content from creators. Don't watch it. It's like you saying: I don't like you on vacation. Please stop showing me you are having fun. Lol

Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean others won’t enjoy It. If you don’t enjoy It that’s okay but why tell them? I hope they keep making them because I really enjoyed this video. And If they followed your advice I wouldn’t get another one from them which is sad. Just keep the negative comments to yourself.

@SwayPromo I agree. I can't stand when people have to be so negative, of content creators' videos. Their videos are wholesome, and just two people going on Adventures. I like the videos. I just recently went to Vegas, and went to two places that they went to, because they gave a good review on it. I also like their cruise videos, I enjoy them more. Probably because cruising is something I enjoy doing. And when they go to restaurants or excursions at ports. It's helpful. Gives me an idea of what to do there if I ever find myself at those ports. The statement that they alway use the same cruise line. RC has a good loyalty program, stack that with their Casino perks. Staying with one cruise line is a smart thing. And RC is one of the better lines, in my opinion. (Counting the days when I can board "Icon of the seas," lol)
