Cruised for the first time with my sister on the Independence two weeks ago. We're taking our 2nd cruise on the Mariner in January. We're seniors, so we don't leave the ship. There's so much to see and do as it is. We like to keep things simple, have fun and relax. My favorite part of cruising is eating and being waited on. I am so ready for our cruise on the Mariner!
Finally, a well done ship tour! Thank you! Ship looks amazing, and I am so excited to be sailing on it in May! I can't wait! This will be our first cruise on anything other than the Carnival Elation! LOL I figured, 3 cruises in, it's time to try something different! :)
This was the best ship walk through I have watched. Great way explaining the layout and bringing in your own childhood and current experiences. Look forward to watching your other videos. Saw a grand suite walkthrough and was impressed with the quality and information shared. Thanks
This day last year I boarded in to this cruze for 4nights.So refreshing to see the whole ship again. U reminded me every bit of my 4 days and nights. This piece shall be of great help in writing of my travel story. Exactly one year back on 8th July evening we got in to the ship. . So ecstatic to remember. A life time memory. Thanks buddy for the courtesy.
I think every video should feature Danny eating dessert! I feel he talks a big game about enjoying dessert but he never gets to eat any and I want to be sure he's getting his fill.
You just allowed me to relive some of my favorite life memories thank you, Mr. Harr. I was on board the Mariner during xmas something like 10 years ago & it was some of the most fun I've ever had.
@@z1pline487 It was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. I was about 14 so a lot of the fun came from meeting kids around my age & running around the boat everyday but I can imagine it would be just as fun as an adult. So much to do & such a beautiful boat to explore. Hope you get to go on a cruise soon!
I love the mini-put portion of these tours. I keep thinking you'll go under par one day and surprise us all. If I can live that long. "I'm not even sure where the hole is." 🤔😀 Ha, lmao.
Especially love this tour, the personal touch seemed more in-tune in this video, and I actually snorted in laughter when Danny was lying on the bed with a pillow over his face
I'm glad someone caught that! We try to throw some fun in there, some Easter eggs haven't been found yet in so many of the videos. Thanks again for watching.
I am going to Cococay in Saturday January I’m so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been subscribed since your Symphony of The Seas video and have watched all your Royal Caribbean tours ever since. Love the videos. Please keep doing these!!! I love how you are able to make the whole video entertaining the entire way through. Straight to the facts, no bs. You have a way with keeping peoples' attention and being entertaining. Normally I skim through long videos such as these ones, but when you are doing the tours, I tend to watch the whole thing. Thanks Danny!
Thank You. We'll be sailing on this Ship from June 26 ( this month ) -July 4th this year. we're doing the Eastern Carribean and Cococay Cruise. This video is fun and informative to watch.
Our Oasis of the Seas cruise was cancelled due to the virus. We were searching for our replacement cruise, and settled on a junior suite on Mariner! Thank you so much for this awesome video. Can't wait to be cruising again!
Does anyone on the planet have a better job than Danny? Paid to Cruise year round, often with your family. The number of times he says "usually with a drink in my hand", "We always enjoy meals in (specialty Restaurant)" or mentions having "Pedicures in this spot" I am curious what kind of bill Harr Travel gets each week ;-) Love these walkthroughs.
It is a great mix for those of us who cruised prior to the amplification. Still familiar, but with that new flair that provides those more exciting activities. Taylor is always happy when they move the mini golf course (one of his daily activities) instead of removing it entirely.
This is a great tour. I especially enjoyed the look at the Diamond Lounge. This is something I have not seen on other tours. I love Royal Caribbean (sailed Royal 25 times), and it’s clear you do, as well. Thanks for the informative, enthusiastic tour.
Going on Allure this summer, can’t wait to see the renovations they are making. Been on Allure and Oasis before but can’t wait to see how different it is. Love the changes in Mariner, much different from 10 years ago when I went on it
OMG! Save your pennies and go. We have been on cheap cruises and not so cheap and we always enjoy ourselves. Unpack once and visit different venues. It is the best vacay ever.
Awesome video. Mariner is so far my favorite ship. Was on her last February and returning February 2021 for my anniversary with my wife. Thx for the tour. Trying to get to diamond status myself..
Very comprehensive, well done! Just booked my next cruise on this ship for my kids’ graduation in summer 2022; hopefully COVID is a thing of the past by then!!
Thanks fore making this vid j went on this ship and clearly did not explore enough I’m definitely going to book another and hopefully your my booking agent
Looking to book a cruise for my family (only one kid/teen since the other one won't be able to join us). All previous (4) cruises have been Carnival, but wanted something different this time. My daughter loves the fact that there's a Starbucks on board (perhaps the key feature for her) - but I love all of the different options (activities/food) in comparison to what I have experienced before. Hoping to book something for next spring break (2022) or maybe 2023....not sure I want to wait that long though. Great video - this is exactly what I wanted to see - since my only experience is Carnival. Thank you for the great and thorough walk through of the ship.
This was an amazing video! My parents took me on my first cruise on Mariner 2 weeks before I turned a year old and I’ve loved cruising with my family ever since. I’ve been on either 6 or 7 cruises with Royal Caribbean and we have one booked on Navigator for March 30th, 2020 in the 2 bedroom grand suite! (Although I don’t know if it’s gonna happen 😬) But your videos are so high quality and I enjoy being on the ships with you when I can’t be there myself! Cheers mate!
Thanks I love your tours!! I just have a question Is food included on this Ship because I am Kinda worried because me and my friends are going And thought it was included. TY!!!
Great review. I dont know to much about the different sizes of ships but that ship seemed to be a good size. Not overly huge and crowded like the Oasis class. Correct me if I am wrong. Enjoyed the video. 👍
Thank you for the videos - they’re awesome and in depth. Question - we have an interior promenade view next July on the Mariner - they seem like they could be loud. Can you tell me if they are loud in those rooms because of the “party” area below? Thanks!
There is a moderate amount of noise that comes through, but that would only be during events like the parade. The sound proofing is really top notch, since the windows don't open.
From 25:45 onwards. That is incorrect information about the "promenade deck". It was not totally new concept when the Voyager Class was built. It was first used in Finnish cruiseferry Silja Sernade (Currently own by Estonian shipping company), built in Finland 1989. And since those Voyager class ships were built in Finland, they included the concept to the Voyager class ships.
We are speaking more about the use of elevators and the skylight feature that provides the natural light on both sides of the ship. Voyager was the first ship to master the structural build required for the 3/4 story structure in the inside of the ship.
@@HarrTravel Silja Serenade has also Glass Elevators, Skylight windows and even full glass wall at the aft of the ship providing that natural light to promenade. And that height of that promenade is 5 stories. Whole concept of "mastering the structural build" is difficult to agree on. Voyager class did not really provide anything new in respect of Promenade deck, compared to older Silja Serenade and Silja Symphony ships. Voyager Class ships were built on same shipyard in Turku Finland as Silja Serenade and design of the Voyager class ships was based on those older Silja ships. That same shipyard also designed Royal Caribbean Freedom Class and Oasis Class ships, and built them apart from two newest Oasis Class ones.
When they condensed the spa during the Royal Amplification was there a thermal suite that was removed to make way for state rooms? Trying to guess if the spa/fitness center was shrunk in their offerings or just in square footage.
I'm a 1st time cruiser and am looking for a 4-5day out of California to Mexico,I would like a reasonable priced cabin as I am a senior. ANY Suggestions?❤️🌈
Hello sir i am going for cruise sooner or late for sure my dream from long time so sir pls tell me which one take first as i have seen various vdo from your channel like disney, carabian royal, and this pls tell me which one to take yes carrarian for sure but which one sir
Just watched your video. Does royal caribbean have an all inclusive price like Celebrity and Princess have? Thanks. Does this ship have shuffleboard courts.
My fiancé and I are looking into honeymoon ideas for July 2021 and really like the idea of a cruise, from my research this looks like the most fun as we are pretty adventurous people. Would you suggest this as a good option or is there a different cruise you think could fit better? Thanks!
The Mariner is a great place to start. You could go with an Oasis class vessel as well (Oasis, Allure, Harmony, Symphony) Both are great options to find out which parts of the experience you enjoy the most and then from there you can plan your next cruise!
So from what people know here, probably not due to the blade being classified as a weapon. But I would suggest using the contact email in your booking confirmation and send the question directly to the ship. Worst case scenario you don't hear back, bring the skates and they confiscate them upon boarding then give them back to you when you leave.
Hey how tall are you? I’m 6’7” and certain areas of certain ships can be uncomfortably low so would be nice to see how well another tall guy “fits” on each ship. I’m guessing 6’7” based on some of the areas I saw you in and the distance between your head and the ceilings / door frame 😂.
