Matt... Carnival changed protocol on pre cruise testing and further allowed non vaccinated to cruise with a 3 day pre cruise test. That is an improvement over the R.C. pre cruise testing for vaccinated passengers, not good. Leaving on a R.C. cruise on Sunday Aug.21st and having trouble with a 2 day window ie: testing on Friday, testing facilities closed on Saturday, we leave on Sunday. Please tell your contacts at R. C. to get competitive drop testing all together or at least give Sunday departures a 3 day window. 17 cruises on R.C. and have never been so disappointed.
Going on my first cruise Feb 2024 South Caribbean on Jewel of the seas. Very excited! Just wondered does anyone know 1. Where can you get complimentary Tea Coffee Juices Sandwiches cakes onboard except windjammer and dining room? 2. Does the pool deck have a disabled hoist/patient lift to access the pool?
Most people do not use a travel agent because they think they are getting better prices on line. I get calls and text messages from friends and family thinking I can get them cheaper prices than what they have from RCCL. The main difference is that I will monitor those prices after your booking and adjust them when they go down.
Sorry I missed the live blog this week but I have question. You always say book early. But how far out can you book? We want to go on Odyssey’s of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale October 2024 for our 30th Anniversary. Is it still too far out?
antigen test confusion. I'm fully vax'd Canadian and am going to Alaska out of Vancouver. Can government says antigen test 1 day out before cruise but Royal says 2 days antigen. Which protocol am I supposed to follow? Thanks

I’ve been trying to book a trip for August that leaves from Rome and travels around Europe but when I try to book on the website, it says the primary guest has to be at least 21 years old; even though the guest age policy says that people aged 18 and up can travel alone as long as the trip stays in Europe. I will be 20 years old by the day of the trip! Some insight would be nice thank you!
Hi Matt. Do you know anything about a $40.00 per person fee for a stop at Bermuda even if you're not getting off of the ship? We just received an Email. When we called RC one person said that you don't have to pay if you're not getting off and another said that you have to pay regardless. Can you please help us.
All travelers age 2 and older, or their legal guardians, must apply for a Bermuda Travel Authorization to enter the country regardless of whether they plan to go ashore in the port. It must be presented at the pier when checking in. Applications can be purchased for $40, a month before travel here. You will not see your ship/sailings listed on this page until a month before your sail date. Children age 2 and under do not need to apply for the Travel Authorization.
I was looking at booking a Bermuda cruise and read this on the Royal website. When we cruised last June from the Bahamas we needed to do something similar online and also pay a per person fee to the Bahamas government - that covered a insurance that if we had covid the hotel stay & medical would be covered - I think it was a way for the Bahamas to cover themselves in case of a large outbreak of covid passengers on the ship - had a wonderful trip. I haven't booked the Bermuda trip yet - so idk all of the details.
