ශිෂ්‍යත්වෙ පාස්වෙලා රාජකීය විද්‍යාලෙ ඉගෙන ගත්ත එකෙක් විධියට, මට කියන්න තියෙන්නෙ, විශිෂ්ඨ පාසලක්, විනය අතින් සහ අනිකුත් ශිෂ්‍ය ක්‍රියාකාරකම් අතින්. හැබැයි කණගාටුදායක දේ තමයි මේකෙ බහුතරයක් ගුරුවරු හරියට උගන්වන්නෙ නෑ. ඒක මම හිතන්නෙ හැම ආණ්ඩුවෙ ඉස්කෝලෙකටම පොදු දෙයක් වෙන්න ඇති. ළමයි ටියුෂන් ගිහින් ඉගෙනගෙන ඉස්කෝලෙ නම ගෙනියනවා. මම ඉස්කෝලෙ ගියෙ 90 දශකයෙ, එතකොට අපිට උසස් පෙළ විෂයන් 4ක් තිබුණා, ඉස්කෝලෙ ගුරුවරු එක විෂයක් දෙන්නෙක් ගානෙ ඉගැන්නුවා, ඒ කියන්නෙ ගුරුවරු 8ක්, හැබැයි උගන්වපු දෙයක් නෑ. මැත්ස් පන්ති 6යි, බයෝ පන්ති 5යි, එක පන්තියක මම හිතන්නෙ 35ක් හිටියා. විභාගෙ ලියන අවුරුද්දෙ පෙබරවාරි වෙනකොට, මේ පන්ති 11ම එක පන්තියකට දැම්මත් 35ක් නෑ, physics, chemistry වලට. සාමන්‍ය පෙල කාලෙ 9,10,11 එකම ගුරුවරු සෙට් එකක් තමයි ඉගැන්නුවෙ. ඉංග්‍රීසි ගුරා එන්නෙ මාස තුනකට විතර එක දවසයි. හැබැයි පන්තියෙ 80%ක් විතර ඉංග්‍රීසි කතා කරන නිසා, අපිට ඉංග්‍රීසි විෂය තමයි ලේසිම, මොකද ලංකාවෙ සාමාන්‍ය පෙල ඉංග්‍රීසි කියන්නෙ හරිම පහලට දාපු කිසිම තත්වයක් නැති පේපර් එකක්. ඒ නිසා ගුරා නාවත් ළමයිට පුළුවන්, බැරි එවුන් ටියුෂන් ගිහින් ඉගෙන ගන්නවා. මට මතක විධියට මම විෂයන් 8න්, විෂයන් 7කටම ටියුෂන් ගියා, ආගමට විතරයි මම හිතන්නෙ ටියුෂන් ගියෙ නැත්තෙ. අපරාධෙ ලංකාවෙ අධ්‍යාපන ක්‍රමය. මගේ ළමයි ඉගෙන ගන්නෙ ඔක්කොම පිටරට, ඒ අය කිසිම ටියුෂන් පන්තියකට යන්නෙ නෑ, එහෙම ටියුෂන් සංස්කෘතියක් මෙහෙ නෑ. හැබැයි ලංකාවෙන් ආපු එවුන්, මෙහෙ ලංකාවෙ ළමයින්ටත් ටියුෂන් කරනවා කියලා ෆේස්බුක් එකේ දාල තිබුණා. අනිත් විෂයන් ඉගැන්නුව අයගෙන් මැත්ස් ටීචර් විතරයි හරියට ඉගැන්නුවෙ, එයාගෙ මහත්තයා එවකට කමුදාවෙ බ්‍රිගේඩියර් කෙනෙක්. ඒ නිසා, ඒ මැඩම්ට විතරයි මම හිතන්නෙ හරියට උග්න්වන්න ඕනකමක් තිබ්බෙ, මොකද එතුමිය ගුරුවරියක් වෙන්න ඇත්තෙ ආසාවට සහ ගෞරවයට. අනික මම ඉන්න කාලෙ හිටියා දේසපාලුවන්ගෙ පන්දමට ඉස්කෝලෙට ආපු එවුන්. මම හිතන්නෙ මේක පුද්ගලික පාසැලක් විධියට තිබුණානම් මීට වඩා හොඳට තියෙන්න තිබ්බා. මේ වගේ ඉස්කෝලෙක යාමෙන් ලැබෙන ලොකුම වාසිය, රටේ ඉහලම තැන්වල ඉන්න අදි ශිෂ්‍යයො හමුවීම. ඒ නිසාකොහේ ගියත් පිලි ගැනීමක් තියෙනවා, මම නම් පාසලෙන් අවුට් වෙච්ච ගමන් පිටරට ගියා, අද වෙනකම් ඉන්නෙ පිටරට.

Colombo academy was founded in mattakuliya. . Later shifted to present Colombo University premises as Royal college and moved to present location much later. There is no.mention of tge awimming pool complex, nawarangahala, old boys complex, carrier guidance unit, Only junior ground is shown nothing about cricket ground, little theatre, more than 9 gates, labs, language labs jrj sports pavilion sports complex are missing
