English school song revamped.
The Royal College school song written by late Principal H L Reed has been re-recorded by Kalasuri Diliup Gabadamudalige - an old Royalist, keeping in line with the original piano music score written by H L Reed himself. Diliup had orchestrated the music in terms of a classical orchestra and recorded it with the vocals of old Royalist Santhush Weeraman of B&S fame and the Royal College choir.
The re-recording of the school song was an initiative taken by the Secretary RCU Manju Ariyaratne on the advice of the RCU Council together with the consent of Prinicipal Upali Gunasekra.
