Many of you will have been following my work restoring my Royal Enfield 500 Bullet to full working order both mechanically and cosmetically. In this video I am giving you a chance to see the completed work. I still have a couple of jobs to complete but at the moment she is back together and I think looking very well. Every time I see one these 500s I really believe Royal Infield is missing the mark by not producing a new model. Your bike is definitely a beauty.

A handsome bike indeed. The seat was an excellent choice - hope you find it to be as comfortable as it looks. The real star of the show, however, is that engine. A real piece of eye-candy. You've got it sparkling like a jewel and sounding great, too. I wish my 411 could idle as quietly as that 500 does! Well done.

Looks like a new bullet, but the color of the bike and the color of the seat and the two bags, looks really great. Might be, you can get the pieces for the valves steering at Hitchkocks in England.. in a better quality. Good luck, best wishes, Peter

Bought the valve rocker arms and new push rods from India. They are already in the country but just waiting to clear customs

Looks amazing, kudos! I love the headlight cap from the classic variant, the bike looks unique and very nice with it, i loud get it in your place. Totally cosmetic thing. Are we expecting ride videos with the bullet ?

Yeah will be taking it out as well as the Himalayan. The wife likes it in the bullet,easy to get on and off.

As it gets hotter it gets rattly at top end. The hydraulic tappets are holding the pressure. I took the rocker arms off they had wear on them but the push rods had worn through the hardness where the rocker arm sits only done 13000 km. So fitting new . Fitted new oil pump o ring and main crack shaft oil seal plus blown through all the oil ways to make sure they was clean.

Nice colour seat. Sounds very smooth. Did you put those metal swing arm bushes on yet and I've missed it? I'm looking at any strength upgrades, and after seeing Bullet Wanderer had a snapped head steady that led to his pipe falling off, I'm very glad I put on double stainless steel head steadies. Swing arm bush would be another robust improvement. Cheers.

No not yet the problem with the play in the swinging arm was the swinging arm bolt was not tight. Torqued it up and it all good. So the new bushes are here when I need then
